Thank you Nacho! It was just a matter of time brother.

I know how much you love GP and King P, but Super Dave has the evil engineer-genius-perfectionism behind him. While I still do love my GP products, you'll find the subtle differences in Super T products that will make you second guess all your previous thoughts... Super T and GP are my top two manufacturers. I feel Super Dave has a slight edge on our friends in Greece. And you'll see exactly what I'm talking about when you get your ELA in your grubby hands! :)

The entire mod is a giant vent. If the battery expands or pressure builds up, the tube extends. When you lock the tube, it doesn't lock with so much tension that it would hold in a thermal event. Actually, although I wouldn't recommend doing this if you care for keeping your extension tube scratch-free, you can pull the tube out even with the lock ring tight.

I can attest to that. Once, I had an atty short. Atty=Discombobulated. ELA=Tube gently expanded.

yeah. i was just curious about the 350 battery venting. i was watching todd's reviews and there wasn't any air that was able to get in/out of the tube....

i'm sure the wait will be worth it, but damn... im in the 17xxx's lol...
well at least i was able to get 5% cash back with discover lol

ELA is a tuff hunk of steel, I can attest to that. i had a 45 min fire and I had a venting .

Ela and atty both faired great with only O-ring damage in bottom under battery. It can take a lot of heat. ELA just expanded as designed with mo harm to me or it. Just lost a battery.

PS. I had to send my ELA back , it had some issues due to the heating and my warping the compression ring , came back like new. I guess due to the heating from 45 + mins I damaged the orings around top connection too.

My little Ti had to go back due to my battery getting stuck, turned out it was a big burr in the threads near button. That one in a million freak thing. Came back better than new.

Great service from a great company.

I agree.. The price is about right now. I always thought the $189 price was low and one heck of a bargain..

I have to disagree, especially when compared to other mods on the market. I still think it's too low when you consider you get 3 mods in one and have two different heads with it. Then add the weight and the quality of machining, its still too low. I think $289 to $299 would be a better price.

It's def better made and higher quality than most other mods.. Add to that the lifetime warranty (never had to use it in 4-years of buying Super T products) and the lifetime refinishing (used it once over 3 years ago with my T1) and I see your point..

I think David tries to offer the best price he can and does not pile up on the per PV profit margin like most other mod makers do,..

Im a bit confused, are you all taking about the add on button using the ELA post or Strata post. Im assuming its the Satburn button? From what I understood The Strata is a hybrid type of post and all you do is take the ELA native top cap off and just screw in the Strata.

Sorry, me and a friend are trying to clarify the talk of which Rhodium post is being discussed. :)

If you want the link to the pre-order form, PM me..

Can you PM me with the link. I would like to see what they look like.....Thanks

Thanks.........I wonder if it will use the SuperT Rhodium plated post or if it uses its own design....?

Correct-a-mundo

Does not come with the post.. You use the stock ELA one..

No mention of Strata... The hybrid connection on the Strata can't be removed anyway (well maybe David can)...

Where is the confusion?

I do love Perseas and George. Perseas and I have become very close friends sharing ideas as literature and there is no doubt he is a top Mensa genius as well as a perfectionist of mod building. Honestly, from the atty's to pv's to his personal service, he will always be tops in my book. A very gentle and loving man that loves to serve people. It would be a long search to find a builder that will send out a replacement part or new device if yours has a build or user fault with no questions and hesitation with a smile. he is always finding and looking for a solution and ideas from us.
I know you have seen this from him my friend.

I also know David is a very very intelligent person and makes many happy in his world. I have seen it personally. 8-9 months ago I was hell bent on the ELA but, I moved on due to my own reasoning, nothing Super T did(maybe a bit of the wait and the long delay) as I know of the quality and respect the fan base(all of you!).

I surly do not want anyone to think that I am not open to new devices or proven quality. As I own double digit GP devices, I also own much GG, Chi's, Ti BBM, and more. I am open minded and love the subjective side of life and this hobby by respecting quality and deserving builders as well as users opinion. I am not into the great testosterone race as many think this is by mod envy competing. I want to learn from all of you. < This is why I'm here Nacho, and much has to do with you and Anavaidfan P!
Again, Thank you all for having me here.
