No, not at all. Its polished to a 600 grit finish, not mirror like.

$190.00 for a top quality USA made telescoping mod sounds good. I would rather buy one of these over two or three Chinese mods.
The first of the P+'s in our family is the 10440 I ordered the wife for Xmas. I can't wait for her to get it so I can try it out.

There wasn't enough snow to fire up the snowblower. I only use it if there's more than 4 inches on the ground. Hand shoveling is good exercise anyway. Thank-you for fixing my snowblower, though. You know I appreciate it. This is Minnesota. The best is yet to come. More snow...Ugh. The snowblower will get a lot of use this winter.

where any dimensions/sizes published? how does it compare against the P+350/500s? ELA looks bigger?

It kind of varies on this mod..lol. About 21mm at the telescoping section, about 22mm at the main body grip indent section and about 24mm at its widest on the both ends. Length compressed though is about 1mm SHORTER then the PrecisePlus 18350 and 1mm shorter respectively then a P+ 18500 and P+ 18650. Weight, i don't know as i haven't weighed it yet. Extensive weight savings throughout, machined out lower cap on the inside, machined out upper cap on the inside, machined out body on the lower half. This baby is tricked inside and out ;-)

Depending on the battery setup, in can be anywhere from Approx. 72mm to 104mm and anywhere in between.

David, regarding the rings, I'm guessing the top ring is used in 18500 mode? If so, would that mean no top ring(s) in 18650 mode? I think there's a pic showing 18650 mode with no rings. Just doing some guessing . . . .

Preorder will go up at approx. 1pm central time. Unit comes standard with your choice of Brass or Stainless Steel Accent rings (see pictures below, there two of them and they go just under the top cap and above the bottom button). I have some brass coming in to make some brass ones to photo, so you'll have to use your imagination what the brass will look like. Also, you can buy the accent rings seperately if you'd like different materials. We'll have some Anodized aluminum colors coming too in the future.
