Nothing like extending the arm way out out to fire a hit and then flipping it around to use as a pointer during story telling lol.
I received my new Solid Top Cap today.. Looks like its a miss…I removed my center post from my original ELA and tried to screw in into the new Solid Top Cap..No luck..It barely catches a thread and doesn't screw on at all..I hate to have to mail my only working center post back in with the new Solid cap, but there's really no other choice..Has anyone else done this yet? I'm wondering on what the turnaround time will be..
Who here has a ring gauge (like for measuring wedding band sizes)? Need to know the smooth accent "ring size" (thick side 1st). After that, just some fine sanding inside with one of these to take care of your gap problem

Mine's in transit to Super-T still, but I'm in the same boat. Glad I have a few simplicity's to use in the mean time! David did say that they would get any of these fixed ASAP and back out.
No way, could I be left ELAless, for any amount of days. I hate the thought of being back down to one. I finally got my backup. Wish I had my backup, to my backup.
If I have to sent my original cap + center pin in to be modified so the pin fits the new cap, will it still fit the old cap correctly? I need this clarified before I can go forward
I need it clarified too. I have an early ELA and a second one on order that should ship in the next batch. Before I send the new top caps and center pin back, I just want to make sure I'll still be able to mix and match all of the parts between the two ELAs. I don't want to send them back for re-machining, only to discover afterwards that they won't work with the new ELA, the old ELA, or some combo of the two.

If nothing else, I thought I would maybe get one for the Simplicity(SS), I bought for my Personal Assistant. I didn't think there would be any delay for that order.
My incoming list: (1)Precise ELA; (3)Strata RDA(ELA); (2)Simplicity(18500)-Titanium; (1)Simpicity(18500)-SS; (4)Strata RDA(Simplicity).

Clarification on this, would be good. I had hoped, all parts would be interchangeable.
Pris can't interchange her outer top caps between her old and new ELA. That is a bit disappointing. I have not tried interchanging any parts yet.........................

I'm feeling a little dumb right now,,I'm thinking ahead but not looking behind as others are here.. Makes sense though, if Dave adjusts the threading on my new Solid Top Cap instead of touching the center post then my center post will most likely fit both caps correctly. He can make adjustments to the top cap itself which will leave my center post interchangeable between the two. Sounds easy enough.I just hate to lose my center post for weeks/months?

haha, I doubt she'd need to "hire" a replacement. Just post another pic of those vicious heels and half the ELA owners would be volunteering
Very nice, I am only waiting on 3 of those
but have some other very nice devices on the way. I hope I love my Super T like I know you do. I will always be faithful to Perseas and GP as he is a great friend but, look forward very much to ELA quality like the owners on this thread do. It's nice to have friends already here and new friends like you that make me feel like I'm in the right place. Thanks.
