Funny Ive been enjoying a really carefree vaping day. Starting to feel secure and relaxed about the ELA business. My routine is I always have 2 atties going and 2 other bases ready to go , all wicked up. I refill a couple times and then change them out with the ones that have been cleaned and dry burned. I do that about 4 times till I notice a hot spot or coil looks off.
Well I pop one on and I notice it not quite right. Atty is hot and not performing well, so of course I think not again...... So I try not to panic , I take it off and put it on the other ELA and its the same. So I think , cool , its the atty this time. I take it off and put it on the ohm reader and its reading 2.89. It started at 1.05. How does this happen? I used to test everytime after a dry burn and it pretty much stays the same, Ive gotten lazy with pre-used wicks/ coils. I always test my newly built ones.
Its not a short, so why would such a high resistance get so hot? Logically I would think it would stay cool?!
ANy who, rebuild it pop it back on and all is perfect in my vaping world again.
