I media blasted the telescoping section, its hidden on 18350 and 18500 modes but exposed in 18650 mode. All my pictures are of the polished (600grit finish). Dimensions approximately are as follows: At the telescopic section 21mm at the indented section on the bottom half 22 mm at the ends 24mm. Length varies from approximately 72mm to 104mm depending on battery.

THis is the post when I aked forcedfuel50 bout the finish. The said the ones in the avatar/pictures was the polished 600 grit finish, not the sating. Its just not a mirror polished finished

All I have to say is this new ELA is the greatest thing I've seen since I've started vaping! Not trying to brown-nose or nothing, but I haven't got this excited about a mod since, umm, ever! This thing better not go anywhere cause I don't quite have the cash for one yet, but that doesn't stop me from going to the website on a daily basis and loading up my basket with one plus the kick tube and extra rings. I'll let you guys get your new production assemly rolling and hopefully by the time all the kinks are worked out I'll be able to throw down for one. I been stalking this thread for a few weeks now checking for the updates and it's looking like it's coming together soon so I figured I'd jump on the bandwagon and chime in.

A very warm Welcome Cjax! What is your current vape set up? Do you use tanks or Rbas?

If you compare pics of the precise + and the ela, the + is their satin finish? Then the ela is the "polished"? I didn't think of this when I ordered.... I thought the pics were of the satin....

Good morning Billy! The polished is to an approximately 400-600 grit as pictured below on the ELA. The Satin is produced through a media blasting and is pictured below on the PrecisePlus, but is the same for the ELA:

Don't underestimate the beauty of the satin. The satin is gorgeous!

This will be my first precise mod and I also had trouble figuring out which finish to choose. Originally I ordered polished, then grabbed the grab bag of tips and laid eyes on the satin finish and realized just how beautiful it was. I had to email David to change my order. I love the satin!

If I may offer my own suggestion, if you're not sure of which finish to order, you should order the Polished finish. That way, if you are unhappy with it, you can always have it refinished to satin, but cannot go from satin to polished. Food for thought.

Yes gonna email super t when I get home from work to change my order. I really dig the finish of the polished, just enough to have it not be a fingerprint magnet

Yes the satin is a nice finish! Its just that the polished finish matches more of my atties :)
