Speaking of RBA, I'm about to pull the trigger but can't decide on finish. I plan on using a Cobra with this. Thoughts fellas?
Save, if your intent is on matching finishes with the Cobra I would, undoubtedly order the polished version. Lol, on the other hand, I've been putting a lot of polished RBAs on top of my satin Precise, and still looks good
I ordered a polished one since I've never had a polished Super-T PV.

My first reaction was to say "Polished," too, but then started picturing a shiny Cobra on top of a satin ELA (particularly one with polished accents), and now I'm really not so sure. It'd probably look great either way.
I guess I'll find out when my satin ELA comes in.
How do those accent rings work? Are they in the video he put up? I was busy drooling the while time I watched it so I paid little attention to details like that. Lol

Ive been wondering the same thing. I got the 18650 kick tube. Maybe forcedfuel will chime in later this morning. Remember, as far as I was told, the polished finish is not the usual high shine polished finish, like on the GG, its a softly almost brushed finish. David told me on an email that it is a 600 grit finish. I like that, so it wont be finger print magnet and will look nice with high polished devices like my Odysseus and the brushed finishes like on atomizers like the DID brushed finish. It will especially match the new Kayfun III ES in the "Y" finish like this:
Maybe Forcedfuel can tell us which of these 3 the polished matches, and which one is the closest to the Satin finish.

I could be wrong but the additional accent rings come in a set of 2.
I also chose the satin finish with polished accent rings.
Just realized I have to pay tax on it since I live in Minnesota. lol. Not used to that.

Question about the ELA accent rings and Kick extension. Some of the pics show the ELA with the top accent ring on and other pics show it without the top accent ring. Is that the Kick extension that is being used or not used?
Just my opinion here, it would still be worth it. I have looked at a ton of telescoping mods and they don't compare.
Peoples huge rage right now is over the polidac (not sure about the spelling), with silver pins. I keep thinking in my head how fast silver tarnishes. They all talk about the hit and how great it is. Don't get me wrong the mod looks awesome. You could pick one up for about 160 euros (about 218 usd) before shipping while they were on sale. I personally do not own a silver tea set, but my mother did. I would polish that tea set and make it look oh so pretty, within a week it was already starting to look grey (oxidized) again.
Of course that is just one reason to go for the ELA, the main reason for me at least.
I could be wrong again, but I don't think the kick extension is pictured in any of the pics with the ELA. I believe the one picture without the ring is while in 18350 mode, the picture with the top ring is in 18500 mode. While extended and the rings, that would be 18650 mode.
Ah OK, thank you! Was a bit confused because looking the pic of the ELA telescoped out, the inner tube showing appeared to be twice the space difference between a 18500 and 18650. So is that pic of the ELA telescoped out actually one with a 18650 and a Kick extension installed inside there?
Must say, I am bouncing off the walls for one of these ELAs. Most beautiful and best built mechanical mod there is IMO...well done!

So if one was to order in Satin the extention tube will be Satin?
