Hey guys could someone please answer a quick question. What version is in Davids profile pic? The satin or polished? Thanks
I wouldn't really go by that pic as a reference, I believe that was the prototype and the final product would look somewhat different.
I think i messed up. I ordered the Satin version as i thought that was the one in all the pics on the first page. Do you think he will let me change the order?
Thanks for the reply. I still got confused thinking polished would be chromed. I dont really like a chrome look so i picked satin but i really like the look of the one in the pictures.
I'm sure you can change your mind, finishing is done late in the game. In the past you just need to email supertmanufacturing@yahoo.com with something like "Precise ELA Order Change" in the subject line and include your order number and desired change.
Yep, I did the same. thought polished was really shiny but it doesn't appear to be the case. Oh well I'm sure satin will be cool too. I'm guessing it will be like the satin provari finish. If I don't like it I'll just sell it and get the polished next. No big deal.

Thanks. Just emailed. Funny i just waited up to get onto cloud 9 vapes to order a precise but somehow got distracted by a few Google searches and found this instead. So glad i did this looks perfect. Do we have an idea of how many are being made or have been ordered? I have read a lot of this thread and by the looks of things there will be a lot of orders. Pre order site said 6-8 weeks but some are saying 2 weeks left.
Yes, it can be confusing. I know that atty's that I have gotten from Europe as satin look almost the same as Super T polished.
Yeah i got a satin provari as well that i like but still i hope it can be changed
SuperT will change it for you...
I also own a Provari V2.5 Satin, its nice but SuperTs Satin finish is still the best!

If you go to the Super T web site, and look at the Precise Plus page, the P+ 10440 and the P+ 16340 pictured are Two Tone. The end caps are polished, and the main body is satin. I have both of those mods, and I like both of the finishes. I ordered mine polished. Some people have also ordered the polished because you can have polished refinished to satin, but not satin refinished to polished. The satin finish is a media blasted finish, and the walls are too thin to polish that out.
Here are some Hi-res finish pictures. The two units were not spruced up in any way, daily use photos warts and all. The ShockWave is two weeks old, the P+ well over a year old.

Actually, you can go both ways. I ordered satin P+s when they first came out because I was curious about how it looked. They look awesome (definitely better than satin ProVs), but I much preferred the finish of the original Precise line. I was easily able to strip the satin finish and was able to get it to match the original polished SuperT finish. While the walls of David's mods are thin, stripping the satin does not take much off of the overall OD.
Thanks for the pics, as suspected, the polished is my favorite, oh well, Dave's got enough work to do without being bugged about order changes. Either one will be awesome.

I know that David does not recommend doing this(Satin to Polished) due to the wall thiness where the threads are...
Just send an email they will put a note in your order.....
