dak ... why post this! ... I promised not to spend any more ... and now I've see it I had to order one lol!

Lol! I think for the price of €20 you really cant go wrong, which is why i took two :)
I asked the people from vaporfreak a few weeks back what they thought of todd's review on youtube of the dra xl v1, and they told me that they were busy with the v2. I'm sure it'll be a nice atty!

See what you did there, Dak ? Now me and Izzy had to order that.

No more showing up for me on this forum for a little while. Just a little.

My pair of Igo-Ls came in today and I decided to drill the air holes out to 1.5mm. The first one went fine, but I broke a bit in the second one and the bit is stuck in there :(
If you don't want to risk another drill bit to get the broken one out try using a nail and hammer. Put the tip of the nail on the drill bit and short sharp tap ;)

Yup, a drill bit will not cut another drill bit if both are the same type which is typically tool steel.
A carbide bit might do it but the way I usually take care of such things is with a punch and hammer. That will typically either knock it out or shatter it and either way it will be out of the way.

I ALWAYS use a diamond wheel to bore out air holes. Never have to worry about a broken bit.

wouldn't a wheel create an slot?

Drill out the bit with a smaller bit and hope it doesnt break again :)

I now have 2 broken bits in there hahahahaha!

I'm gonna have to try this way, I really don't want to waste a igo cap over this.

Thank you all for the tips though!

Its not that kind of wheel. Its more of a diamond coated tapered point. From 1/64 to 5/64 inches.

wouldn't a wheel create an slot?

EDIT: This is what I use. And also run water over the work area while using it to keep temps down.

For those wondering about when these will start shipping, we should begin assembling about mid week and i expect to start shipping in one week. Orders will be shipped in the order they came in. I'm going to do my best to do up a series of "how to" videos on the ELA, so keep an eye out for those!
