So I've been issuing my ELA for a day now. I have 2 Immortalizers and it turns out neither of them played well with the ELA. The first wouldn't screw onto the ELA top cap and the second, which you saw pictures of yesterday shorted the mod out. It got so hot I had to pick it up with a towel to get it apart and the battery out. Yikes!

I turned to my trusty ERA rba and had no problems with it. It vapes wonderfully on the ELA. It just looked really small on top of the mod.

Here's a pic in 18500 mode with a stock RSST. It's the only genny that I own currently. This has a .7ohm coil using flat ribbon wire and its producing a really nice warm vape.

I really like the button on this mod. I can pinky push it without any problems. The ELA sits a little wider on the table and because of its weight it doesn't tip over as bad as my P+18650.

Definately not as pretty as yesterdays post. But, if it works! Thanks so much for the info!!

I am wondering if I will like the bottom button. I have had a side slide/pushup switch from the start.

Happy vaping!

So, here are my thoughts on the Precise ELA.

Upon opening the box... only one word comes to mind, "WOW!"

I'm not even going to bother gushing about the quality of craftsmanship involved here, we all bought a Super T product for this reason anyways, so its a given. Setup, out of the box was a snap! Everything was so straightforward (but still you should watch the instructional videos) that I was vaping within 3 minutes of opening the box. Most of that time was just me gawking at it.

Out of the entire list of ELA's extensive features... the one that stands out to me the most is the Hybrid Adjustable Center Post. I don't know why this isn't a standard in today's vaping market, but it should be. The ability to custom fit ANY atomizer to the mod, along with custom fitting the center post to the atomizer... is simply genius! Currently, with a genuine DID attached to ELA, it sits ROCK SOLID atop ELA's cap and because it is tightened down to the cap (and not just the 510 threads), it is incredibly rigid. It feels as if the atty really is a part of the mod itself. As if some sort of assimilation has gone underway under that top cap. It feels like it belongs there. I have no doubt in my mind that if I were to drop this off my 5th floor balcony, onto concrete, I'd easily be able to pick it up, vape it, then pout over the scratches I may have caused. This one feature, in my mind, deserved some attention and credit.

Only thing I have been able to nitpick over, is the extension tube for using a Kick and an 18650 battery... Mine seemed to have had some burrs on it at the vent hole, it was a little rough as it screwed onto the top cap, it would "knock" on something every turn. Nonetheless, it still threaded on perfectly with no real harm...again, just a nitpick.

Another thing that caught my attention, were the vents on the telescoping tube. David, you may have to correct me if I'm wrong, but it appears that if you have an accent ring on, for the most part it covers the vent hole. Now with an o-ring just above the vent, and a solid piece of metal surrounding the rest of the vent hole area.... Where would gas escape to? Is there enough room between the accent ring and the tube to allow safe passage of gas (that sounds funny)? Would it divert towards the bottom end of ELA?

Other than that... Now that I have ELA in my hands, I can truly say that this is the mod for a lifetime! Only to think about the exciting extras/modules that may be in our near future to make this spectacular mod even more amazing than it already is! The Precise ELA should be able to stand the test of time and will probably last longer than you and I will. Excellent work David and Super T Staff!! You have earned my highest praise and endorsement :D

EDIT: Forgot to add that the knurling is about the nicest, cleanest looking I've ever seen. Looks really good and isn't "rough" on your skin.

It takes a little getting used to at first. I have some bottom button mods that you have to really get into it to push the button. Needless to day, those reside in the cupboard. I have found with Super-T's button, they are really effortless regardless of which finger you use. It's just a matter of finding out what is the most comfortable way of holding it. :D

I really like how the accent rings look and make it look so sleek in 18350 and 500 without the kick. I think the very next thing David has to make for us Kick users is accent rings that are a bit longer to hide the gaps when using the kick. It just looks so elegant covered.

David, a set of kick top accent rings for all modes of batteries including a special long accent ring for full 18650 kicked.

I had a little trouble threading the Prometey on the ELA too. Since both were brand new at the time, I wasn't too surprised. I just worked in in and out it a little bit (vaping terms can be so much fun) and it gradually threaded all the way on. Now it threads on/off easily. Doing so does not seem to have negatively effected the threads of the ELA or the Prometey (both thread perfectly with other devices).

I know it's not in stock and nobody wants to hear it anyway because we've invested in Kicks, but the Crown is 7mm shorter than a Kick. Could make any gaps a moot point, but I don't know. I'm done with Kicks, that I do know.

Nach, that DRA XL looks amazing on there! I actually just ordered one last night and was waiting for someone to post some pics of one on the ELA. Can't wait to get them together but I'm at the beginning of the second batch (missed first by 2 days doh) so I probably still have about a month's wait. Now I just need to find a way to make the DRA into a satin finish.

Here you go, the positive post pivots around the base.... that is the feature that sold me on this one.

Personally I really dislike that "feature", especially it makes it prone to shorting out, make sure it's in line with the neg post at all times.
And it makes the posts feel rather sloppy. Loose fitting top cap is a negative as well, I have to find some thicker o-rings for it. The dental floss trick didn't work.
Vapes and looks great though. :)

I'll keep that in mind when setting it up. Thicker o-rings for sure. But no idea what size to get on those lol
