I've been using 18500 efest V2 1100 mAh and Efest 1500 mAh with no problems, no heating, no expanded cells, no leaking, cracking...... nothing...... They have gone on many of my adventures without a hiccup.

As long as there's no shorts there's shouldn't be any issues, but if it should happen, a protected battery is less safe ironically, as they don't have the safe chemistry of IMR's.
So I'd recommend using IMR's only to stay on the safe side.
Gotcha I make sure to meter and carefully space everything before it goes on any device. But yes I can see where a IMR can be beneficial. I guess it's one of those things that after you've been doing it for awhile you kinda forget about the "bigger" picture

Are they in stock now i checked on these a couple days or so ago and they were out of stock??
This is my ONLY gripe about the Spheroid. Other than that, it's the only RBA I use. Never leaks, and I toss it around constantly.
The only RBA tanks I'm interested in:
* Don't leak, ever.
* Don't use NR wire
I tried the Steam Machine and the Taifun, but they're toooo long.

Thanks for posting this, I've been having second thoughts about my second ELA order, which is satin and in the second batch. I also have a polished one on the first batch. This is one of the better pictures which shows the beauty of the satin finish, I'm keeping it!
I missed out on the P+10, plus the Brass end caps...

It really is a novelty, kinda along the lines to say, hey I own one. I rarely use it, but when I do, I am always amazed a the power it puts out.
Dern missed out on that brass button, now I really want one. Ha Ha

The Brass button doesnt lock, its just for full dress occasions with the Brass accent rings and brass velocity T Tip....
Super T has sent you a package! Look like mines on the way--ELA to follow shortly....
My Brass button and caps are on the truck today... Must resist the urge to stay home!
Doh, now I'm not sure if this shipping notice I got is for my first ELA, or the brass button I just ordered
