The stock speakers in my car didn't put out that much.
Yeah it was an epic experience, but I wouldn't vape at that constantly. Hell puffing for half a second already gave a huge cloud, but flavor was hindered. From 30 watts below the flavor was pretty out there and at a level of warmth I enjoy.

I am going to commit to all things Provari for a bit as to not overwhelm myself. It's barely been 5 weeks of vapng for me and I've soaked up a whole lot of info, not to mention expelled a whole lot of greenbacks. I can definitely see the appeal of REOs though, and may one day dive into one to relive the joy of getting to know a new mod in & out.
I was the same as you, so much info in one month. You don't even have to jump to a REO immediately unless you know you like dripping (almost certain :p) You can grab a cheap IGO-L or any other sealed dripping rebuildable atty and start from there, building coils over 1.0 ohm and firing them on your Provari at home. I started with 510 bridgeless attys on my Provari, that's was the stepping stone for dripping. It's a different experience for sure.

But like I said, you can't go wrong with a Provari. Putting aside my preferences it's a top notch VV mod. So be confident you are in for quite a good vaping experience.

Does that top ring from G-modders, have an air hole in it?

No.... And it does fit tightly with my Hercules. (Has it's own AFC) The first accessory I purchased when I received the most recent V2.5 was the Hippo V2. I'm planning on purchasing another (probably in brass) soon just to have around for "those times" needed. I cannot say enough good things about the high quality and fit of the Hippo V2. Outstanding! :) ProVape does need to at least start milling air-flow slots across the top of the stock cap IMO... There are many tanks available which cannot get air with the current design.

I have a ZAP and a 510 atomizer coming from Provape with my order. Although I don't think the atty is bridgeless.

I'll prolly get a hippo to cover all my bases.

Sooooooo...... THE ZOMBIE is now available. I just ordered my satin this morning, so I think two in one day would be irresponsible. Besides, as much as I like green, the Zombie theme is a little too gamer geek for me. I'm an adult, with grown man hobbies and a family. I don't want people thinking I smoke weed, play games and shine samurai swords in my spare time.

EDIT: I say that jokingly. I may even consider the Zombie Mini when I'm ready for a mini.

I am just wondering if any one has used a diver in one of the loki labs tanks? I am just wondering because if I was going to try a tank like this I think I would prefer something I can rebuild, he has 2 sizes of tanks, 35mm & 45mm.

Phiniac Glass is one of the U.S. suppliers for the Atmistique Diver as well. (they are in stock, you would receive your item much sooner than ordering from Greece)

No, it's not a typo. I am still Pre-Provari. As I await shipment of my 2.5 full length, I have found myself almost exclusively roaming the Provari sub-forum, so I decided to build a home thread here.

THE BEGINNING:
Been a heavy smoker for 18 years. NewPort 100's..... 1.5 PAD with periods of 2 PAD. I have been known to chain through 10 cigs while working on my car, or 4-5 while enjoying a cup of coffee. I've tried numerous times to quit, patches, gum, etc. to no avail. I have quit other more immediate life threatening substances (drugs & alcohol), and while it wasn't easy, quitting an all day habit like cigarettes is a whole 'nother monster.

THE AWAKENING:
I starting experimenting with cig-a-likes and was surprised how satisfying it was, not to mention all the added bonuses like being able to do it virtually anywhere. I started with a Blu:facepalm:, then upgraded to V2cigs..... I had still not bothered with ECF and didn't have any vape friends to help me figure this world out. After about a week of experivaptation I stopped smoking cigarettes.:D The last few weeks I have been using a Smoktech Woo 5v eGo with Smoktech Pyrex DCT's.

The rest of the story is much like most of the new members, and then later, new Provari owners...... I went on a whirlwind of spending and device purchasing, joined ECF, kept hearing how proper the Provari is, (I am the biggest supporter of purchasing USA made products) and decided to stop "vaping around the bush" and ordered one.:headbang:

PREVARI:
I ordered the full length Bronze 2.5 w/green LED. And as I await arrival, I have gone on a shopping spree of accessories and goodies to enjoy customization and topper testing when it arrives. And this morning I just paced an order for a ........ 2nd Provari.

Here's the list (ordered):
Provari Bronze Full 2.5 w/green LED
Provape extension
Tatroe Base
Zen Atty Pro
Kir Fanis Brass Ring/Extension
Kir Fanis Prive Special
Loki Ring
Provari Satin Full 2.0 w/red LED

I can't thank ECF enough. I have researched everything I ordered before purchasing and I trust the reviews. This thread will be full of pics, and I welcome any questions or comments. And expect to see me questions from myself as well. Also I guess I should catalog my Juice favorites.

MY TOP JUICES (50/50 18mg) ATM:

ADV: TV Banana Cream Pie
2nd: TV Razberrt Zynger
3rd: VV Vanilla Blackberry Swirl

Last day of Smoking: 8/18/13

Wish I had started out with that big of a bang. Took me 3 months to get my first ProVari. I have a min in bronze w/green LED. It's a cool color, and I get a lot of compliments on it form vapors and non-vapors, too.

What is TV, please. That raspberry zinger sounds like a flavor I would like. Raspberry was the flavor that got me away from tobacco vapes, and it is still one of my favorites.

Oh, and welcome, too. :)

TV = Tasty Vapor

I was on Yelp looking for local Vapor shops and was ecstatic to find that Tasty Vapor, are large online Juice supplier resides it's operation less than a couple miles from my house. They only recently opened their doors to walk-in customers.

They sell 30mL bottles for $16. A little steep, but I don't mind because for me, I don't have to wait for shipping. Also they offer 4 of their flavors for $11.50 and rotate them every week.

TV has been my primary juice in the 5 weeks I've been exploring.

Razberry Zinger tastes EXACTLY like the real thing, and is very smooth and mellow for long vape sessions.

I just got shipment confirmation on an order of 6 flavors from MBV. I've heard mixed reviews, but I have to try for myself. It's interesting how on stumble on favorites by accident. I tried Peach Melba from TV because it was on sale. I don't know what I was thinking because I don't drink (2+ years sober) and I usually don't like Peach....... Well it's quickly found it's way into my heavier rotation. I love it.

If Razberry Zinger sounds remotely tasty to you, I highly recommend you try it. It is the most accurate depiction of a real flavor I have encountered.

I drip quite a lot and while bridgeless has pluses, it also has minuses for me. Without a mesh to hold a bit more liquid, I have to drip more often - which I sometimes forget to do.

I have a blog about dripping, which is probably too simplistic for you, but it might have a hint or two you'll find useful: Drip, Drip, Drip…

I'll check it out. I want to try every dialect of atomizer eventually.

Hey Oce, any idea if the JoyeTech in the pic (the one Provape sells) is bridgeless? It didn't say in the description.

EDIT: the link was a very helpful introduction. It will surely save me from popping the atty within minutes.
I did also have no awareness of drip shields. I did not order one. Are they necessary? Any good recommendations?

I doubt the atty is bridgeless, if it was it would say in the product description. I have the same Joyetech attys (or similar depending on the resistance) and they are quite nice. I primarily use Joyetech 306 attys. Ciscos are supposed to be better 306s, but they aren't in my price range.

I've never used a drip shield, I don't think existed when I started dripping. There was a discussion about them in the ongoing dripping atty thread and apparently a 510 to 510 adaptor is required (at least with some, I'm still unclear on that), so overall it seemed like extra bother to me. Even without my glasses, and with my shaky hands, I've never had a problem dripping. Most of the time with 510s I don't use a dripping drip tip either. I use a regular one and just pop it off between drips.

I use the same dripping attys on my bottom-feeders too, so I wouldn't be using a drip shield very often anyway.

With 2 Provaris on the way, I feel that I've underordered on batteries. From ProVape I have 2- 18490's and 2- 18650's coming. But I definitely want to have at least more 18650's, and it wouldn't hurt to get a jump on owning some 18350's before the inevitable Mini order is placed.

I know there are countless threads on this discussion already, but I trust the network of visitors to my thread here. Where and what brand should I order?

I'm Really stoked. I got my Pops coming over later today so I can PayItForward. He's been smoking for 40+ years, and I've captured his attention. He's a little stubborn with change so I'm gonna give him a nice long introduction on how to adjust to the vaping technique. I'm giving him my V2cig kit, with extra batteries and a 30ml of TV tobacco. If he can successfully get off the smokes, I have no problem filling his carts and supplying him with eJuice.

Lost both of my parents to COPD, so here's wishing all the best for him!

The V2 cig is on the right:

Ooooh, plumbing and pipe fitting with electronics experience! And a big sheet of carbon fiber in a later photo. Do I sense a new, unique mod in the near future?

Congratulations on your purchases. I'm sure your confidence in ordering the 2nd before getting the 1st will be rewarded.

I wondered when someone would pick up on that. I indeed am a Steamfitter Journeyman, and do hope to do some custom modding eventually. I'll have to take a pic at work of the drawers upon drawers of assorted SS tubing and fittings I have access to. As well as TIG welders, and torches. Once I get through the initial shock of the vast knowledge and Mech mod experience needed, it shall begin. Also, I am a total carbon fiber ....., and I love wiring LEDs. You should see my Chevy Sonic. It doesn't lack either of those goodies......

Also thanks for the suggestion guys. I'll be ordering some batts soon. Just ordered a couple IBtanks and my Prive Special will show up today. So expect some picks soon.
