I wondered when someone would pick up on that. I indeed am a Steamfitter Journeyman, and do hope to do some custom modding eventually. I'll have to take a pic at work of the drawers upon drawers of assorted SS tubing and fittings I have access to. As well as TIG welders, and torches. Once I get through the initial shock of the vast knowledge and Mech mod experience needed, it shall begin. Also, I am a total carbon fiber ....., and I love wiring LEDs. You should see my Chevy Sonic. It doesn't lack either of those goodies......

Also thanks for the suggestion guys. I'll be ordering some batts soon. Just ordered a couple IBtanks and my Prive Special will show up today. So expect some picks soon.

Cool! Are you accepting pre-orders yet? When can we get one? Is it here yet?

Not sure if patronizing me,

Sorry, I'm just kidding you.

In CoOps and pre-orders, where delivery is often delayed by mfr delays and other snafus, it is common to read, "Is it here, yet?" repeated - usually partly in jest.

If you end up making some for sale, you'll likely get some of that. Even if you don't make any for sale, I would enjoy seeing your creation(s). You might like the perusing the Modding Forum for inspiration while you're looking into it.

The rest of my Kir Fanis order arrived.

Also not pictured is the shorter tank tube. I know that the Prive Special takes flangeless carts. What is the go to for standard carto's?
Boge 3.0s right?

Now ,THOSE are nice... :toast: As for the cartos, I really don't use them much anymore.. I know a couple of the regulars who use them will be by to recommend some soon.. ;) I used to be partial to IkenVape's when I did use them though..

Hopefully it was implicit that I meant cartos for my tanks..... I guess "standard carto" could have been taken to mean cartridge.

Damn vape semantics. Also I haven't picked up a carto punch.... KF's bueaty is out of stock so I may grab one at Tasty Vapor (the most local B&M).

I wonder if there is a reason people prefer to punch there own over buying pre-punched, besides PG/VG thicknesses.

Interesting. I experimented with top and bottom coil clears last week. ViVi Nova and iClear 16 didn't hit good unless I cranked up the volts in which case I fried the juice and had to swap/or clean coils. After a couple rounds of that I put them back in their boxes and haven't touched them since. Similar experience with the pro-tank II. The performance and taste was great for about 20 minutes and then declined rapidly.

I was however using a tiny eGo spinner, so maybe I'll get better performance out of the Provari.

I've been getting very consistent and great performance out of the SmokTech Pyrex Dual coil carto tanks 2.0 ohms on my 5v Woo. I've accumulated 5 of them. I get .... rip sized TH and vapor from them and I love it.

If you want to look into something inexpensive, which appears to work great, check these out:

Aspire BDC Cartomizers / Tanks

PBusardo did a review the other day, and practically went ape-@**@ over them. I rarely see him like that on his reviews unless it's "that" good.. I immediately purchased one of the 3.5ml versions for my GF. Should arrive tomorrow. Here's his review:

A PBusardo Review - The Aspire BDC - YouTube

EDIT: Oh yeah, he did mention possible air-flow issues with the ProVari's stock top-cap... I'll look into it myself tomorrow afternoon, and post back. My GF will surely want to use it on the V1 I gave her anyway.. I'll get it to work well somehow.. ;)

I vape thin juices, so I prefer laser punched. I could never get holes that tiny on my own.

ETA: I use flanged mostly, but this might be a good deal. http://www.surevapes.com/Boge-510-SR-Stainless-Laser-Punched--2-hole--1-box_p_443.html

The shipping is free if the order is over $10.00, otherwise it's $1.59.

That is a super deal. I may as well load up because the variety of snazzy tanks I have coming my way require them.

Thanks for the link.

Also if so many of yall aren't into carto tanks for your Provari, then what do you use mostly? I was under the impression that most RBAs, at least the sexier ones that compliment the Provari well, are not the best mobile toppers.

I use an AGA-T2 and a Kayfun Lite on mine. The AGA can dribble a little through the air hole in the top cap if left horizontal for some time. The KFL performs wonderfully! I did experience some airhole leaking when going from A/C to 80+ F in the humid Redneck Riviera. This may have something to do with the fact that I neglected to change the wick/clean the coil for 3 weeks or so, but . . .

I have another ProVari and a ZAP on its way here from the classifieds. (Scheduled to arrive today! ) I don't know, but I expect it will be the same as the AGA with regards to travel positions.
