Took the 510 assembly apart just to be sure. Down to about 1-2mm too long now. I dont know what else I can do

You have to actually thread the bottle top most of the way up the screw, so there is only maybe <1mm of tubing sticking out the top of the bottle top.
Doing this also ensures a rock solid, leak proof connection.

Edit
The end of the 510 screw should go all the way through the bottle cap and into the dripper tip as well, that is what holds them both in place and tight together.

Clark, I can't seem to find the method in post 229 of the Printed Mechanical BF Thread. Do I have the right thread?

BigLungs, I see what you're saying. I'm using a reo grand bottle, without the dripper tip insert but with an o ring. I'm hoping that will be enough to keep juice from leaking? That also means i will have to drill a bigger hole in the reo bottle top.

Same here Kingdal, removed drip tip from bottle and using an o-ring. No leaking but when I first started using it the bottle came off the screw so air was leaking when I squeezed bottle and I had to push the bottle farther up the screw. One of these days I am going to order one of those 9ml Vapage bottles to swap it out. Shipping fee for a couple of bottles is only thing stopping me.

Sumratio, did you have to drill out the bottle cap? I've been twisting the #### out of the cap but the positive screw just won't fit. I measured the hole on the cap and it came out to 4.2mm. The positive screw with the tubing on it is over 5mm so I was hoping some force would squeeze it on, but no luck. If you did drill it out, what size bit did you use?

Hey gdeal. Yep, been studying that that post for a while now. It recommends a 4mm hole in the bottle. Mine is already over 4.2mm but still cant get it to fit over the pos screw. Is it just push and turn or is there some other technique to it? Thanks!

Edit: or is the reo bottle cap made of harder plastic?

Just switch mine to using the tip like Gdeal showed. I had a time boring the hole out but now that it is done I like it better than using the cap. I just kept working it until I could get the tube inserted, which was already on the feed screw and the plastic was thin enough to push up over the end of the screw.

Thanks for the tip Gdeal
