Word. My bad Clark, your right. I think I just jinxed my order..

Nah, you'll be fine but keep checking your email just in case.

btw: I just received notice that the ring a button from the kit have shipped. Why, I don't know. I thought the complete kit would ship all at the same time.

I am just worried about ordering the wrong size body. Is 1 × Peko V1.1- Mechanical - All parts Both buttons 52 x 46 x 87.6 mm the right size? Thanks.

I'm not sure I understand the question. The body is only one size and all of the buttons will work it's just preference, but could be wrong.

Yes, just use the default scale. I am trying to get them to lock this in and not make it an option which can be changed. Good question and thanks for pointing that out.

Ok, Sculpteo round two, just came in. The finish is 99% perfect. :) I ordered the "All parts - Both Buttons" Model in Beige Polished and the "Ring and Both Buttons" Model in Brown Polished for the mix and match. The polished surface is very nice and the color seems to be fairly consistent through-out the model. You can see some light variation on the body near the middle and bottom, but it looks like it may be slight shadowing from the print grain. The parts slide in and out like silk. And the fit is great. I think this can go right to the sealing and them to assembly. I know Polished is a couple more dollars, but IMO, well worth it. The beige isnt as light in color in person, the bright light from the side is washing it out a bit.

Dang. I should've done 1 in beige and 1 in brown and swapped buttons and rings. Instead, I got white and gray (looks like charcoal online) so could be a ok contrast.

The mix and match color thing is personal. I show the mod to four people, Two loved, two hated it. :D

I'm all about contrast. I have a white reo and black with silver vein. Switched doors the moment I got my 2nd since the contrast was so nice.

Besides imo, beige and brown are a contrast that I think works well together. My parents use it in the living room. A very warm compliment to each other.

Got my Peko from Sculpteo.com. This is the one they didn't cancel. White polished. The internals were a little tight sliding in, but the finish is pretty nice. Not nearly as rough as I was expecting from pictures.

Now all I need is parts. So excited!!
Has anyone ordered the double polished that you know of, and posted pics? Did you think about getting the double polished yourself, if you were expecting a rough finish.... I'm about to pull the trigger on this lil guy .......

I'm not sure if this finishing idea has brought up before, but I've been looking at these finishes and remembered a CHROMING SYSTEM that I almost bought into to. Its spray on chrome, non toxic and the results are truly unbelievable and a great variety of color preferences. There's another company for you 1% er's that does real gold plating (cosmic gold, I believe) on plastic or whatever, I've seen a picture of chromed deer antlers (? Whatever? ) in the 3 step process there's an actuating step that fills in rough surfaces and preps material for the product.
Here's a picture of a piece of ceramic tile ((10 years old, and scuffed up) but that goes to the resiliency of the finish)) that was sent to me along with their literature:

The link is a series of videos showing the process. I think that this beautiful mod is begging for a finish like this. There are different finishing processes. I know that there is a flexible chrome finish that would be perfect for your creations either the Dna or the Mech......in my case definitely BOTH!
I've seen hydrographics but not this
Check this out!
