Thanks guys , top cap is gonna be same as body ..... button and ring is gonna be either washed out black or flat base color of wood grain , cant decide ....
I messed up sealing the Sculpto body and need some advise. I did it the garage over cardboard and I think it was too cold. It just looks terrible. Should I strip it with acetone or something? Thanks.
So it would seem i just couldn't wait till the weekend to build my Peko. I do need to take the button back apart and put the lighter spring in it. Other than that it was pretty easy to do. I did wind up with a little blem on the side of the top cap as it came in contact with the ring while the clearcoat was still wet. Didn't have any sandpaper on board to fix it as yet. Will fix that when i take it back apart later. Surprised by the feel and overall vape of this thing. I think it might actually hit a little harder than my grands.[emoji51]
Good looking peko mike. I feel the same way about my peko. It definitely hits harder than my reo at low resistance builds. I did a voltage drop test a while back and confirmed that info. The form factor is what I really fell in love with. Once u get your switch dialed in it really is a tough mod to beat IMO.So it would seem i just couldn't wait till the weekend to build my Peko. You may like the setup replaced with soldered wire, but if anything it increases VDrop, not reduces it
I agree with this. Eliminating friction connections should provide the least resistance provided the conductor can carry the load efficiently. If the fire pin solder lugs were one solid piece of becu it would be a different story IMO.Hum... I don't see it that way. Wouldn't a direct solder to screw threads on the fire pin and to the 510 retainer ring be the least VDrop? It would eliminate both washers/solder-lugs and screw nut pinning hardware.
