Nice...Great alignment on parts without the mod.

Thanks. Not terribly difficult thanks to the 3D render you provided. :)

One thing I noticed on this build is that the nuts on the brass rod are a little small for the holes in the solder lugs. This isn't an issue on the 18650 as you're using the smaller hole at both ends of the rod. Also, I don't know how this would really compare to the original parts list nuts, as these are the ones sourced by Drunk_J.

It was fairly simple to get the large hole in the solder lug centered between the nuts like this, but I'd imagine it'll be a little more difficult once it's in the framework and being tightened with a couple sets of pliers.

Man, I've been waiting for the transparent Pekos!

Actually, a clear or translucent print would be pretty righteous.

Well, I guess i could/would check the classifieds for a peko for sale.... :(

But this is only post #12
Highly doubt you will find one on the classifieds, sorry :/

I have people at work drooling over mine, and I am holding on to my spare parts kits like they are gold. If you or anyone else who is interested is handy at soldering, you could get by with less parts to find. Some people have replaced the whole rod and lug combo with wire, and fused the other thingies together (sorry I cannot remember the names for those pesky parts, just know they gave me a heck of a time to assemble). I believe Rossum or someone else jas experience with this. While some may argue it isn't truely a mechanical, if it vapes then who truely cares?

I will consider doing this once I learn to use a soldering iron. I might learn it this semester, or next semester in my classes.

The opening for the solder lugs that the rods go through are 3.66mm. The channels in the 26650 internal for the rods are the same size. You can use up to #6-32 threaded brass rod. Its probably available at a local hardware store or for quick order just go to ebay... Solid Brass All Thread Threaded Rod Bar Studs 6 32 x 6" | eBay (make sure you got brass nuts)

I did a dry run of the 2-56 rod and while its slightly loose in the hole, I could get solid compression from the nuts. The 2mm rods work too, but I see what you are saying Finagle69, they are a bit tricky on working with them. So it look like either small brass washers if you have the rod already or just up size the rod between 2-56 and 6-32 if you dont have parts yet.

As I already have the rod and accompanying nuts, I'll replace the lugs. I found these on Keystone's site, which have an opening of 3.05mm. I'll order a handful of them. Plenty of time before the print gets here. Solder Terminal Lug for #4 Stud-PN7331

Still not totally ideal, as I'd rather it be 2.5ish mm. I can get it to seat fairly well as is, I'm just not in love with it. As an Electrical Engineer who specifies lugs and terminals for high voltage applications, things like this stick in my craw so I have to find better matches. ;)

Yeah right! You'd have to pry them from his cold dead fingers. And J will never die. So good luck! Wait til this site comes up where you can but everything you need in a one stop shop! It should be coming soon! Drunk J is a beta tester. I'm sure IF he has any spares, he still needs them for testing mods..
