I think its on the site now....
Happy that I am not the only one with being upset about those wonky FD 510. So I know your pain.
I sorted my leaking issue by adding an o-ring to the FD 510 (outside) to seal the top cap. I am still having issues with the center pin of the Zenith atty not sealing to the vented screw. This is a design flaw (NOT GDeal!) in general. Even though the screw head is fairly flat, but if the atty sits in the FD 510 a bit off center, juice will flush up and out. It's all about finding a proper o-ring to stop that. The hard part for me is that the Zenith center pin is shorter than average.
Over at Bottom Feeders http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modding-forum/624683-bottom-feeders-place-everything-modified-custom-made.html are some geniuses fiddling with hybrid connections and one guy managed to have a spring loaded bf going. I am looking to do something like that, because all the FD 510 I got from the coop appear to be out of spec.
Cheers.
Thanks GDeal, ordered... Says delivery will be 3/17... I think I will be good when this one gets done... What seems to be the battery of choice in 26650 nowadays?
I had to take the o-ring out from under the atty in order to get it to thread enough to not just pop off. But then juice leaks out under the atty. Today I found a small o-ring that fits above the Nuppin 510 threads and allows it to thread all the way down, but keeps juice from leaking out. So that's working better. And thanks for the coin tip... I was having a hell of a time threading the 510 into the top cap! Mangled my thumb nail. So I got the brass ring real tight and adjusted the delrin/screw up to meet the atty, and it seems to be working. Thanks for all the help!
Only downside about efest is that they are liars and put unreliable wrappers on their batteries. I personally only own ONE 26650, and it does happen to be a purple efest. But I do not trust their judgement. At all. I don't use any of their batteries anymore. Haven't for over a year.. that 26650 was bought a good while ago and only because I couldn't find anything else. For instance, their 18650 "2500 mah" (or so they say) are told to be 35 amps but are actually only 20 amps.I bought the green 4500mAh Efest and 4500mAh Keeppower. I like the Efest more than the Keeppower as it stays at a higher voltage for just a bit longer. Both are now better than the MNKEs. I'm pretty sure both of these are 20A max continuous. If you need more (I know you like to go low), you'd want to look at the purple Efest which is 3x00mAh but a higher max continuous rating.

I don't want to start an argument, yes Drunk went well beyond to test the 510 and yes this might be just a matter of tolerances or just my 30 years + experience in engineering, but my essential statement stands: The FD510 sucks.
If I take that very same Zenith atty and swap the bottom screw ( love this feature ) and screw it on any other mod, there is no wobble and no connection issue, not even on the REO.
End of rant. I will get this going the way I want, no doubt, but I will look at other options too.
BTW, I used solder wick between button screw and 510 instead of that mini screw/nut. This works perfect, solid connection and perfect flexing.
Cheers

Every once in a while I find an atty and 510 that don't play well together. I do find it odd though because my FD 510s usually work with any atty. Maybe that is because the FD 510 is ever so slightly looser than most. If your atty threads are ever so slightly smaller than most the two tolerances added together may be to much. Have you tried other attys on the peko?I don't want to start an argument, yes Drunk went well beyond to test the 510 and yes this might be just a matter of tolerances or just my 30 years + experience in engineering, but my essential statement stands: The FD510 sucks.

Yeah Mike if anything go with the efest honestly, i know it sounds "funny" to recommend efest but all the other 26650 out there don't seem to be any good. The keeppower are way over length. I hear they are around 3-4mm longer.. so that would be a nightmare in your Peko. Probably wouldn't fit at all and if it did your leaf spring would take a severe beating. Go with the green efest. My purple one was cheap and is 3500 mah. It lasts for freaking ever. I've charged it all but two times. Granted I don't ever use my tube 26650 but when I did I vaped it for 2 days on a .9 build! Thanks for the feedback. I was eyeing the KeepPower 4200 50A or 5200 20A but the more I read it seems the Efests are the preferred ones. I think I might go with the green like you did. I do have one of my Mephisto's set up @.24Ω and really enjoy the vape, but I think the atty gets a little on the warm side for the Peko. It's ok as it only comes in at 17.5amps on a fresh battery. I will most likely marry one of my Mephisto's to the 26650 but will probably run it in the .3-.35Ω range. Thanks again...

I wish I could see them too! And oh, that's cool then, i just heard that keeppower were longer. Guess that was a false statement then.I'm really thinking I need a Mephisto. Did you get it from CH? And are they 22mm or smaller?
Mark, I really wish you could see my Imgur pics! I show a pic each with the efest and keeppower in the peko. They both fit. The keeppower has less than 1mm clearance b/w the leaf spring and the frame, but that's enough.
Your screw is not in deep enough
and try a quarter, it's easier
Figured someone would say that lol!Maybe Gdeal meant use a penny cause not everyone's rich there, Ronnbert!! Haha! Just kidding around.
But a great fix for loose bolts is to get rid of them and solder! Better conductivity also. I soldered my button to 510 lugs in all me Pekos. Soon to be 3 ! The lugs for the third are already soldered and ready to go in.

No I just cut the two solder lugs and left enough room to solder. Cut the big 3/8 lug for the 510 and the smaller lug for the button. Then solder a 16g high strand copper wire in between. Works great.Figured someone would say that lol!
Seeing as I don't know how to solder yet, that may be a problem. I figure I will teach myself at some point (in between semesters probably) or I may learn in one of my college courses either this semester or next. I would not do it directly to the screw though, be a pain to adjust throw.
The screw was deep enough to not make a connection to the atty, and when it was high enough to connect, the atty wouldn't thread. It is working now, but doesn't seem to be hitting as hard as it was before. I've adjusted the delrin as far as it can go, to the point where it keeps spinning by the screw is still.
Nuppins don't have a real long 510, so there's very little room for adjustment it seems. No problem with the Mephisto.
I'll be getting another parts kit in the mail soon, so I'll see if that 510 is any different.
