Doesn't matter, but tapping allows the screw to be screwed in easier
4 pekos I tapped without drilling. But i use a T for tapping by hand. Was easy enough not to hurt your hands even. Just make sure to back up when the tap is clogged.IIRC, 4 mm is for the bottle and/or tip. The delrin piece needs a #36. I think.
i've always drilled my delrin piece before tapping but I've read where some people just go straight to the tap
11/64.. i tried a tad bigger and it leaked. Wouldn't seal. 11/64 is your best bet! Literally a hair bigger and you'll get a leak.I like the easiest squonk I can get. Anyone know the biggest size that will still seal?

11/64 is bigger right? I can't remember... but if 5/64 is bigger than 11/64 I would not do it.Thanks, Mark? Any real difference between the 11/64 & 5/32?

I'm heavily leaning towards the bright orange for my next 26650. Either that or the bright green. I really wish the blue was darker, like cobalt or royal.Well, I chickened out buying the bright orange from sculpteo, and went with boring black.
I did have livewire modify the delrin and bottle for me so really all I should have to do is clear coat and assemble. I know there's the one cut of the threaded rod but that's easy and can be a little ham-fisted. I think with the livewire extra-service this thing is as close to being a KitMod as you're gonna get.
I ordered the kawa looking green for my 3rd Peko. Will post pics of course when it arrives. I had two reos in kawa I love the colorI'm heavily leaning towards the bright orange for my next 26650. Either that or the bright green. I really wish the blue was darker, like cobalt or royal.
That's really, really odd that you got a bad 510... considering J tested them all out. Good thing you had a 3 pack. And what the hey, their only like $3 bucks a piece. I have like 5 extra fd classics sitting around. I'll use them one day.. I guess when I get 5 more Pekos! Cause those 510's are SS and I'm sure not easy to strip, or break. They seem pretty solid honestly. You guys... it was totally my 510! I just switched out the 510 I got in my other parts kit, and the Nuppin threads immediately, and tightens down solidly, flush to the mod. Seriously night & day. That first 510 is just not right, not by a long shot. So glad I ordered an extra pack of 3 from FD.
ETA: And I picked up a 11/62 bit and drilled out the bottle. Easier squonking! I am just so pleased with my little black mod- just ordered shell #2! White polished, due to arrive 3/18.

I thought you said it was working fine by not crushing the o-ring over the screw?
I got it to work as long as I did not use the o-ring around the FD510 (and didn't over tighten the nut on the vented screw). But it only still would barely catch the threads- like it would screw on only about 1/4 turn. It worked fine for a while, but today my Nuppin popped off in my bag, so I decided to try the other 510. Now the Nuppin starts threading right away, like it does on any other 510.
