Just order another polished white to paint. It's cheaper.
You know your gonna end up doing it anyway.
I have a polished grey coming as well.
I would be interested in pics or how you think it looks.
Mine isn't due for 2 more weeks.
Yep that's what I'm thinking. No choice really. Live wire mods sent me an email to let me know I'm their first ever UK customer and as a thank you they're sending me an extra hardware kit [emoji1] So no choice but to buy another set of printed parts. Really decent of them I thought

Yeah, as Dhaiken said, buy another! You will FOR SURE anyway. I started with 1, a week later ordered another print.. now, on monday I'll have 4 Pekos! And trust me I'll be getting plenty more. My last print (the 4th one coming monday) was ordered from "economy level" and I paid $45 shipped and it only took a week and a half to print and ship! The price can't get any better than that. Love me some Peko and Sculpteo is awesome!

Oh and can't forget the main man, GDeal, who created this all!

-Mark

I ordered via economy on the 21st and it's still in print. 2 weeks and counting. I guess the 3D printing is busy and my economy print definitely took a back seat. Oh, well, I saved some good money doing it this way. Just not used to waiting SO long for something. That's why I've never made any orders from China.

I place an economy order on 3/16 and received my order on 3/30. I choose the economy because I was in no hurry.

Could be they are busier now too.

I placed an economy order on 3/24, got shipment notification on 4/2 and tracking shows delivery should be 4/6. This was for standard print black polished. Much quicker than I expected.

That pink Peko looks great Rudy! Wish my wife would quit smoking and let me build her a pretty Peko!

And Distroshack, that's cool they helped you out, i bet shipping a parts kit to UK is pretty expensive!

-Mark
Certainly is. Cost almost as much as the kit itself, but not too bad as they're throwing in an extra [emoji1]

Thank you for the offer, I already ordered new kit. Should be here early next week. Good news is the second build went without a hitch! Lady is happy, :) I tried it out and love the feel in my hand. Nice size and contour. Held my Grand in the other, whoa... big difference in weight and comfort in hand. Can't wait to get mine built now!

just ordered peko #2, have the 26650 now getting 18650 to try out as I have a bunch of 18650 batteries.
I am going to try this with very limited parts though.
getting FD 510 and screw, going to get battery connector.
going to check local hobby shop for couple of nuts for switch unless anyone has any extras they would part with.
1 thing I am going to try is crimp eyeloops, modified a little and solid copper ground wire from 14ga romex house wire for switch leg and center from battery.
I have used modified lug in 26650 already( lugs are copper with tin coating so you can drill them and sand off tin to solder if needed)
will try to chronicle this as I go along ,hopefully this will knock parts down a bit for someone financially struggling to get one of these in there hand.

ordered 18650 v2.2 peko white standard finish complete w/ economy shipping is 44.72 to my door.
Fat Daddy 510 classic(3 to a pack ,but I will use them) plus drilled out center screws, also 3 in a pack18.05 to door

When you say drilled out center screw, 3 in pack, what do you mean? Are you sure they will work? I got on amazon and got the 10 pack of vented 6-32 screws for $20 shipped and all you gotta do is sand down the head to fit in the 510, and personally I drilled all mine out to 1.6mm for easier squonking.
Just curious what your talking about...

Yeah fat daddy has the same as the ones in the kit. they don't need sanding. I will snap a pic when I get home later and post

Yeah, you're right that's what I saw . Where did you get the ones you had?
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00137P3RE?vs=1

Ok so, that link "should" take you to the options I picked, if not you choose, quantity-10 (only option) then choose #10-12, then 3/4" long, then fully threaded, and 6-32 thread size. I can vouch for them and many other builders bought these exact screws. They work great, the stock vent hole is 1mm and would work fine but if you want a fast sqounk, drill the vent hole out to 1/16 or 1.6mm, i did mine with a 18v drill and used VG as a lube, it works great and the hole that's already there works as a guide. Then to get the hand sanded to size I wrapped my threads in a piece of leather and chucked it in the chuck and went to town with a file and sandpaper, another method is tighten two bolts together and then put in chuck but leather grabbed better for me and didn't hurt my threads at all... pretty sure there's still a section in the build doc for getting the head to where you want it. I believe the head should be about 5mm in diameter once done... I went a little farther with mine though, their all about 4.5mm.

Good luck!

I know "pics or it didn't happen" but I'm on dial-up and pics take impossibly long time to do,and sometimes time out.But wanted to say I put my first PEKO together yesterday. Yipee! Krylon Oil rubbed bronze and #1311 Matte.I'm not used to rattle-can painting so there is a large drip from overspray but she's still a beauty. I know I can redo it,but every time I look at it I'm reminded that I did it my self and I think I'll leave it.Little nuts and screws were a challenge but I can't wait to do my next one(bought 3 co-op kits).May have my next one sent off for cerokote, but that would mean opening a Facebook account since you can't do business w/OCDMods from their webpage.Closest approved shop is around 70 miles one way.Sorry for not having pics, but just wanted to say,to people who understand, that I'm having fun and am pleased.

Well Oaky, I understand the problems with dial up, i didn't even know it was still around! I haven't had AOL since 2000!! "You've got mail" hahaha.

Anyway, post pics when you can! Post here and in the DrunkJ picture thread!

Look forward to seeing it!

Oh and, after building and loving my 4 Pekos I'm venturing into Regulated Temp control!! Last reg I had was a DNA30 that I didn't like very much... it also wasn't a bottom feeder..

Anyway, yeah I'm probably selling my Reo LP mini 2.1 to fund a GDna 4.2 with DNA 40D large screen!
Pretty excited about it..
