a reminder of the planned software switch this weekend ;) - the downtime is now expected to be 24 hrs

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/forum-how-tos/666330-xen-foro-tips-tricks-3.html#post15619143

This weekend sounds like an excellent time for a road trip. That will minimize my withdrawal symptoms.

Sounds like an excellent time to start a summer vacation away from ECF, give the computer and bank accounts a rest. It won't happen, but it sure sounds good.

24 hours without ECF? You mean I might actually have to do something else?

I'm thinking medically induced coma

Don't dismiss a cheap ehpro atomic. Superb Atty and easy to bf mod. Single or dual coil and AFC. Best I've used so far
Yep I run one of these in rotation and it is the benchmark by which all other attys are measured for me. You can get them already bottom fed by buying an RM4 at reos mods If you don't have the means to do yourself.

But as far as I know still has never got the -3mm clear glass tubes for them. ???
I thought he had gotten them but that thread moves so fast I might be mistaken[emoji47] when I misplaced mine a week or so ago he mentioned he had some in stock but I didn't ask about the short glass cause I run the poly cap ground down 3 mm. I'm a dropper so glass doesn't last long with me[emoji26]

anyone use the vapage 9ml bottles. just got 6 and was wondering what the prep is for them ,like do you drill the top cap and put the supplied rubber oring type seal inside the cap.sorry for the crazy questions but want to do it right the 1st time if i can.
copying this from the GDNA thread:

Yup, they fit fine. The 6ml is the standard that we have been using and in the coop kits. But the 9ml vapage bottles will fit because of the flatter caps. Just have to drill out the cap to 11/64 drill bit size or #18 drill bit.

and yes, use the little o-ring.

There is a thread in the Reo forum that goes into great detail about the ins and outs of doing bottle mods for them, 3mm to 6mm, 6mm to 9mm and if I remember a 6mm to 10mm. Some liked them , some didn't, but the vapage bottles was probably liked the best. In the sticky's is a list of threads to find it from easier.

I've been on "the list" FWLIW since they first became a twinkle in Tom's eye for 2-3 of them... never saw that he got them or heard from him so just assume they have still not materialized yet.

I use the same #18 drill bit on these as I do the 6ml bottle. I do not use the little clear sort of o-ring thing that comes with it and have no leaks.

I tried to use the clear thingie, but the cap doesn't want to screw on. So I would be more than glad if someone tells me how to put on the clear thingie as obviously I was doing it wrong....LOL.

now that you say that about the clear thingie, i remembered that i xacto'd a sliver off the very top of the bottle cuz i did have leak issues when i tried it without the clear thingie and untrimmed.

Could be that the drill bit I used is slightly smaller? But is that how the Reo folks use them? By cutting the top of the bottle? Just want to hear all the methods before I decide. I know there are Reo folks in here.

If I remember correctly they drill them with the 11/64 drill bit and no clear oring. It's a tight fit so it doesn't leak. You are correct, it won't fit with the clear oring.

I think you can use the rubber ring when the bottle gets worn and leaky. When the cap leaks, you can give the bottle a haircut and then use the rubber ring. I guess that is why they only include one ring with two bottles. You don't need it immediately. Just save it if the bottle/cap junction starts leaking.

Cool. Just making sure it wasn't grossly different than what everyone else is doing. And just a little FYI, a #18 drill bit is only a few thousandths less than an 11/64. When I was testing flow through the caps i used the number bits as they have a very small increase from number to number so i could slowly test. I stopped at 18 as that was where the flow first seemed open enough. So I just tend to always use it. But i realize most people just have a sae fractional or metric. With some of my projects I may need an oddball size so number and letter bits help with the in between sizes......
Where can I pick up a set of the numbered bits? What would one search for online in order to find them?
