The kitty almost looks like our big old boy Sampson (25 lbs) - he was a skinny feral cat that adopted US in Chula Vista, CA as we waited for David to quit working so we could go play, lived in our RV for a bit there... Sampson was the best guy to travel with, always so curious about new places! After checking out new places, he'd settle down in our site and be happy laying under my patio chair.
His name.is ob, odd ball. He is from a litter of three, both his.brothers are full blonds. I call him lil lump, cause he gets so loveable that he feels like a lump of flesh

My goal is to do just what your doing right now when I can retire, wife and.I would love to do it now
Me, too! I want to just drive till I find a place to hang out for a few days. Max, of course, wants to visit everyone, so I'd have to take him on tour, so to speak!

I make custom collars and leashes, so I could pack up supplies and just hit craft fairs and shows. If I plan my routes well, I could just drive in circles...lol

I like horchata, but I have a hard time seeing the flavor working in juice, its not a strong flavor, its quite mellow

What percent of the juice total mix are you using? I like 2.5% or 3... I found it needs to seep a bit too, unlike some others that are nice right off the bat. BUT, hubby said that he can smell that one over all the others I vape quickest - so I try and use it outside when working in the patio. The others he says are just nice fruity smells more like a bakery than perfume. (good! yup)

I find horchata doesn't taste or smell anything like it's Mexican rice drink, but I do like it I think the best of my flavored mixes.

There are RV parks and campgrounds alllll over the USA looking for volunteer workers in their office or mowing grass just for the cost of the site - ie, free site to the worker bees and you put in a few hrs a week for the site - we tried that one summer in Idaho, but found their schedule a bit more work than other places - 5 days on call, with 2 off to do your own thing. 2 days wasn't enough for us to do laundry, shopping, doing the tourist thing in the area, etc. so we never did that again, but we certainly have met a lot of fun folks who love RVing that way! say 3 mths here, 3 mths there, then move south for the winter and 3 mth here, etc. you get to pick and choose where in the country you want to check out next. We've met some who took their kids along with them too and home schooled them with very active history lessons being learned along the way too! haha tis fun!

meant to say workers get a free site and the owner of the RV park gets free help (not a site)...

Summer times are chaotic times to 'work/camp' , perhaps you would be better than us, dealing with 'weekenders', as we all them, (not real knowledgeable RVers) than we were... some can really try every little bit of patience you're able to muster up! HAHA

We home school our 10 yr old because the schools out here are horrible. He's gonna be in the 7th grade :)

I hope you can give him a good social life with other's his age as you do his schooling... tis so important for the kids to figure things out between them as they play and learn as to how to get along with others, and be helpful and NON-judging.
I've seen kids from well to do homes experience many things new to them that you'd never get to experience in a normal school system - but there are pros and cons to both sides of this equation.

When we're ready, we can meet up at a starting point, and just make a little caravan and drive from fair to fair to make gas money! Tell Mrs. I have tent, table and a banner...lol...well advertise on FB where we'll be, and everyone from here and there will be on our list of stops.

That was something we really wanted to do with the kids. Thought about selling the house and just rolling away

With the internet, it certainly would be easier to take kids these days than back in the 80's say without cell phones or the net.

I just told her, she screamed that she is all for it. Now we just need an rv, and someone to make sure my only son doesnt collect to much dust. Heck I will just leave the oldest in charge of the other two,

We've learned that trying to sell to other RVers is not much of a money making idea (goal to have). We tend to like to do crafts for the fun of it and to waste time, gathering to learn a new craft from another and getting to know each other better, etc.
It's the city folks with good paying jobs that have their pockets full and spend freely.... most RVers are retired and living on a fixed income, and like to save $ so they can buy more diesel/gas to get to their next place of interest (grin). for the most part. There is an occasional BIG RIG that'll come on by (to impress) but they're normally visiting family nearby for a wedding or funeral or some such - a have to do thing... the fun ones are those on a budget with real creative minds and lots of energy - gaining pleasure from the simple things in life, definitely not out to impress anyone but full of the joy of finally having time to play themselves.
