Yeah tornado warning is over but it's pouring outside just got drenched lmao
Ughhhhhhh.....just go home and be safe! We have a break between bands of storms. Wind is starting to gust on the coast, and waves are getting higher. They haven't called t a tropical storm yet, so no warnings issued till the hurricane hunters reach a conclusion. Houston has gone ahead and implemented hurricane protocols, so that's good!

Wow miss a couple of days and it takes 2 hours to get caught back up. We'll be praying for you folks in TX, hope everything turns out ok for all of you.
Thanks, Zippo... We're still floating after the Memorial weekend, but at least the city is more prepared this time, and I'm not flying in...lmaoooo

I need it to stop raining here in MS been trying for several weeks now to go and get some sheetrock to finish my bedroom addition. The last 2 weeks we've been getting 1 to 2 inches of rain everyday except today and we got a 1/4 inch just enough to get evrything wet so I can't do drywall :(

the bad part about TX everything is asphalt and concrete, there's no what you call ground to soak up water, it has to run off somewhere. I remember when I lived out there it didn't take much to have a flash flood that would cover the streets and flood them.
The bayous are all still flooded, it's got nowhere to go when it hits.
