Hmmm... I got the notification from Flushdraw on Monday, and he asked me to let him know when I hear from them... but I haven't heard a single thing from them, all week.... I'm wondering if I should ask Flushdraw about that, if it's normal or what.... but I really hate to bother him when I know he's so busy with all the other prizewinners.

Steamtuners? That's who I won from.. the full "tinytank" kit. I'll just wait; considering how long it took to get notification that I won, and then *what* I won, I guess the whole thing is just slow, considering the huge number of winners. Maybe Monday will be the charm again.

I don't think I won a full kit though, only a tank that can be used on a Taifun GT, which I don't have. But I can always buy one later! Lol

Haha, I got Kayfun parts for a Kayfun I don't have. Maybe we can all get together in a PM and put together one or two Mega Atties.

Talk to Anavidfan in the Taifun thread--she's using Steamtuners tank on the Taifun.

Well, got the Taifun GT2 , contemplated for a while and instead of waiting till late night when things are calm, I set it up just now and it was easy. It performs so nice. I set it up with the Steam Tuners clear tanks and no leaks so far and with the OEM drip tip.

Really a keeper.

Ive been using my Taifun now since I got it and noticed that it was getting floody. I figured it was my wicks not being fluffy enough. I rebuilt it and use a bit more and left a bit more fluff sticking out and lightly pushed inside for any errant liquid.

It kept getting worse and I could see the liquid going up the center air tube. I thought maybe its too open, still kept leaking when left alone for a while. It did not do this over night.

I decided to try the OEM glass and SS tank, no leaks, in fact I had to open the JF a tad. Been hitting it hard and for longer drags, so far no dry hits.

Has anyone had problems with their Steam Tuners clear Taifun Tank? I checked and it seems the O-ring is not tattered or loose or dry. I will let it dry and try it out again tomorrow. I think someone posted about something you can do to check if the seal is good? I think it was Roxy...

Get a K4 base from FT--7 bucks. Don't know if it's any good, though, but they do carry it.

You can ask in the Kayfun 4 clone thread--those guys know everything--they will help you find a good base:

Katya, the pm said the clear view tank compatible with the Taifun-GT &GT2. I'm assuming that it's only the tank and not an atty. Is that how you read it?
