Well, I contacted Flushdraw, and my TinyTank from Steamtuners has indeed shipped. He also said that if anyone hasn't heard anything yet about their prizes, definitely contact him, he'll see what's up. :thumb:

Is that including last list people? I haven't heard from Global Vapors but wasn't panicked yet. Should I be?

Dunno about panicked, but you should definitely contact Flushdraw -- he said if anyone hasn't heard anything yet, to let him know, and he'll see what's up.

I've just read a couple articles in our ECF library that tells why the mini-cig-a-likes don't produce 'good results' as smoking cessation devices, and think that anyone who is sharing e-cig starter kits with smokers should point them to these articles for some facts, knowledge about equipment for sale, and knowledge about inhalation techniques to use with e-cigs, and why test results show what they have in the past (no nicotine gained using cig-a-likes?).

Inhalation and Vapour Ingredient Myths

Very worthwhile articles, makes me wonder why it took me 2+ years to find and read...??
Thanks 'rolygate' for these little jewels of your knowledge shared with beginners to make them more successful!

I agree, that first one is a MUST KNOW for someone just starting out with e-cigs -- and I try to always bring this up, whenever I read here of someone who's doing pretty well with substituting vaping for smoking but can't yet dispense with that first smoke of the day -- that was the hardest one for me too, until I actually paid close attention to how I was vaping. Once I got the slow-inhale/mouth & throat/nose exhale down pat, that morning smoke was history -- because I simply didn't need it. :thumb:

I, like ole Peter, shall be a kid forever :p

I guess I've got a thing about being called anything but what my true age is... Mom continues to call me her 'baby', [like I have not accomplished zip/anything in my 70 yrs of living on this earth, but am still suckling and dependent upon her for my total sustenance.]
I guess I've just got to get over this and perhaps just consider the source, but oh, does it cause my hackles to go up when I hear it.

I honestly don't have any problem with younger folks calling us older folks kids, in jest... nor do I have any problem calling the younger folks kids... that's all in fun to me. (but I do have a problem being called a baby at 70! by my Mom who is 97..) guess this is confession time (grin).

I don't even have a problem with my mom calling me her baby... it's when she TREATS me like a baby that I have a problem. :D I'm only 54, but that's over half a century of accrued wisdom. :D

HI all! Been very busy at work, but received my prizes and very happy too! Thank you to John (coffeebum) for the terrific kydex cases - yes! He sent me two! Woot! And Thank you to Jon at Liion Wholesale for the EFest 4 Battery Charger along with a couple batteries, a phone charger, a regular charger and battery case. It's their favorite and the one they use in their lab, so I KNOW it's going to be good!

Thank you again to SJ and Flushdraw for taking on a mammoth task.

I'll pop in again soon, I haven't abandoned y'all!! Hugs all round

At least you still have your mom around to call you her baby. My parents had me fairly late in life (I'm the baby of eight kids) so my dad passed when I was 38 and my mom when I was 43 (they were 86 and 84 respectively). 23 grandkids and 5 great grandkids, they've left a pretty big legacy.

well, let's post it over here, too ;) - click quote to expand

I was the lucky winner of the Apollo RDA by Leo in the 15 millionth ECF post.
First let me say thank you to @SmokeyJoe for the contest and Leo for donating this RDA. I opened it and it was nothing like any RDA I'd ever built so straight to YouTube for a quick tutorial.
I watched a short video by Leo in (Greek with English Subtitles). I couldn't understand how the hollow center post that came installed wouldn't flood my 510 connection so I removed and inserted the solid post  Why oh Why??? After finding this thread on ECF I've reinstalled the original post and have found my perfect combination of bottom and side airflow.
I quickly wrapped an onboard Ni200 coil and I was vaping in no time . Wow the flavor was amazing and the ease of the top cap snapping on and off was so impressive. Time to take a step back and take a real look at my little Christmas in June surprise :D.
It truly is beautiful with the combination of polished and brushed stainless and the engravings are subtle, well engraved and very classy in appearance.
I loved that everything I needed tool wise was included with a nice little package of spares.
I've been using TC devices exclusively for the last 6 months so this is now my favorite RDA for building with Ni200. The Apollo secures the wire so well it makes holding your target resistance a breeze. No more snapped wires trying to feed soft nickle through holes or screws backing out after a day.
I've loved looking at all the different build configurations and I'm sure I'll experiment as I go but for now I'm a very happy single coil kinda girl with tons of flavor and vapor :smokie:
