I've met a lot of great people via this forum, even though I haven't been very active during the last few years. Vape gear moved way beyond what I understood at the time, but I've caught up some. I've found some great flavors, great suppliers, and count several of the first members as friends now. I think I must have found the forum when it was still a "baby." 910s and 810s (or something like that, I don't even remember, lol!) were the only two models on the market. Then came the Screwdriver and lots of mods. The Janty stick used the larger 810 atty, which I liked. Janty has now disappeared.
There are so very many options out there now that I look and look and look and can't decide what to try next!
Our rural area FINALLY got a vape shop recently, but it's still 50 miles from me. I stop in every few weeks, but they are mainly a mod and cloud type store. I really don't enjoy walking into a cloud that makes my eyes water, and the flavors they have are so complicated - they have a nice menu, but when I finally found a flavor I liked, they were out of the strength I use. I've been trying to cut down from 18 to 12, but that is not going well. I had a choice of 24 or 12. Don't want to increase the nic, but I already have nearly half of my flavors at 12, so I wanted 18. But I was surprised that a vape store with 30+ samples only had one flavor I even liked. I like lots of flavors, so they need to expand beyond the 18-25 crowd. Older people vape too! But I don't want Captain Crunch cereal flavor. I want a great buttered rum flavor. Virgin Vapor had the best, but now I can't find one. Have found a few that come close though.
I get frustrated trying to find new flavors I like. I have a rotation of about 10, so I guess I'm lucky I found so many I like! I'm still using cartomizers that have replaceable parts, so it's inexpensive to have a lot of them (too many waiting to be cleaned...again!)
Just keep the FDA out of our lives and our vaping and we'll all be happy vapers!
