I got a couple of the brass connectors because it's a great brass addition to the GG. But, one of mine did not work. Here's what happened.

I replaced the SS connector with the brass

....put in a carto and put in a battery and tightened it up....nothing. I checked the battery and the springs and the switch and everything and still no vapor. For the life of me I couldn't figure out what was wrong, so after 15 minutes of scratching my head,

I took the entire GGTS apart.
Then....I saw the problem. I installed the wrong brass connector (the one w/o the center connector)

hahahaha, the simplest things are the most difficult ones Para!! I sometimes have problems like this and I cant figure what is happening for more than 1/2 hour. Its a silly situation sometimes

You stripped the button, didn't you, buddy? I love me some brass buttons, too - maybe I should have gotten a brass connctor on my latest buying spree at COV!!!

It looks like a typical GGTS with an 18650 fwiw......:)

My fave veg is when I couldn't get a UFS to work and Imeo asked me if there was an oring preventing contact.....................wow, did I feel stupid!!!!

Yep, it's the NP'ed low profile w/o the NP'ing. The challenge was getting rid of the plating from the locking ring but keep the design. If Imeo wants to add something to his already Looooong list of things we'd like to see; make the low profile button switch and don't plate it. It's a classy look.

Thanks for the info Para. It looks so small and as Rick said you may lose it on carpet! hahaha. But it has fun for sure:)
A 10180.....doesn't last long at all so it's just a novelty. The goal was making the smalled working mod; this one is it. I gotta be careful I don't inhale it. The 14250 is still the smallest battery that lasts any length of time.

I spent a solid 20 minutes yesterday, trying to pull down the center battery connection shaft of my CE2 tank, to get it to make contact with the stealth cap connection. I had just switched out the battery, so I knew that wasn't the problem. I got the center shaft all nice and exposed, still nothing. I finally noticed that my button lock wasn't screwed all the way down. Voila - problem solved. rofl

Well while we're all telling on ourselves, I was so excited to get my UFS in I pulled a really smart move. AS anxious as I was to try it, I still disassembled everything, inspected and lubed up the O-rings, etc.

Carefully puiit a new 901 atty in but when I tried to vape it, I got nothing but a dirty metal taste and no vapor. The dirty metal taste went away of course and that was when I opened the unit up to get a better look at the atty.

There was no juice in the damned thing. I guess that's one way to insure no leakage! Hard on atty's though...
