PROBLEM with Kick2/GGTS

I purchase kick2 from bargainvapour cause has a discount price
Evolv Kick 2

I receive it and put it in the ggts with my iatty up there at 1ohm/resistance with 32awg nichrome (1res).
When i press the fire button for 2" tryin to vape,atomiser dont work at all and the engraved tube and button get hot too much,also i check battery(aw imr 18650 2000mah) and was extremely hot too.

Atomiser resistanse is working properly without kick2 till now.
I contact to bargain for replacing my kick and answer me that i have to send it to Evolv Returns and they will replace it.
Does anyone has same prob with me?

Blue my man, I received 2 kicks v2 from bargain vapor as well. I will try them now and get back to you.

First try was at 10watts and second at 7 watts
had the same result as above

My problem until now is that it don't work well under low ohms. Got to try it with +1.5. When I fire it burns for about 1s then decreases

OK I tried the 2 of them in ggts with stealth cap and 18490 battery. No problems at all.

2.6 ohms at 10 watts and 15 watts
1.2 ohms at 10 watts and 15 watts

Sorry I don't have anything subohm ready around me.

If your atomizer is not firing at all then I assume there is a short. Check the wrapper maybe it is torn somewhere?

i found this in the middle of kick.One metal point is out of the wrapper.Maybe is this the problem?

Sorry to hear this , sad thing is evolv have a reputation for making unreliable devices . Just waiting for imeo to put his variable device in production .

My kick 2 works perfectly with my GGTS and Ithaka. I would check it with a store bought atomizer first. BTW my Ithaka is set up at .8 ohms and the kick is set at 15 never had a single problem.

I dont know if its the photos, but it looks very dirty. The brass should be shiny and very gold. Try to clean the Kick with some alchohol and then try a tiny bit of metal cleaner and shine it up. Maybe its just too dirty? I dont know why a new Kick would look so tarnished, again it may just be the photo, but that area on the bottom where it touches the battery looks very black/ tarnished?

I see the molten metal as well as the heat shrink deformed in the same area. Signs of some high heat in that area.

I see this black after make 2 tries with different batteries,maybe from the heat i dont know..kick2 will shipped to U.S Evolv tommorow
