i never smoked cigarettes so instead of starting I started vaping instead, I am 18 and have been vaping for about 1 year now probably more. I only recently discovered some problems with vaping that keep occurring, these problems are:
1. Dry nose that bleeds if i vape a lot the night before and sometimes scabs up pretty bad In morning
2. Dry mouth and gums can bleed when I brush them
3.Other bleeding
Im assuming vaping just generally dries out everything in your body the way i am doing it now. Is there a way to stop the drying out of all these body parts like more vg less pg or just quit it all together?? FYI: I use 3-6 mg nicotine with 32% vg (i never specify vg they just always give me this %). Thanks for responses and hopefully happy vaping lol

I'm not a doctor, but bleeding isn't a normal condition. Although it CAN happen (obviously) there's something going on that's causing it, and you need to get the issue addressed ASAP.

Yes, vaping can dry you out, and some people have sensitivities to the ingredients in e-liquid. If you are staying properly hydrated, there's something else that's going on and you really should get it looked at.

As you're not a former smoker, I would strongly suggest that you stop vaping and see if the symptoms improve.

That sounds like a potentially serious problem. I don't think it has anything to do with the VG/PG split you are using. I found this information from the Hawaii Family Dental Website that could help you:

"Nicotine is a vasoconstrictor compound, which means that it has the tendency to stimulate the contraction of the muscular wall of the blood vessels, resulting in reduced blood flow. Based on research, the extended decrease of nutrient and oxygen supply to the gum increases the probability of periodontal disease development. Restriction of blood flow also affects the mouths natural inhibitory function of cleaning and fighting bacteria, as well as reduces the body’s innate ability to heal and generate new cells.

Such destructive effect is also a well-documented fact of analog cigarette smoking. Periodontal diseases, if untreated, can lead to tooth loss and even other serious health complications.

Signs and Symptoms of Periodontal Disease

  • Persistent bad breath
  • Inflamed or bleeding gums
  • Redness, tenderness, or swelling of gums
  • Loose or wobbly teeth
  • Gum recession
  • Tooth loss"
So based on that, perhaps vaping without nicotine could help. But I would suggest seeing a dentist or doctor to check if you have experienced this periodental disease or are at risk of it. I hope that helps you and I wish you a happy vaping future!
