I haven't smoked an analog since the day my kit arrived, and form me it was very easy to substitute the "vaping ritual" for the smoking ritual.
However, in trying to "convert" a couple of friends I have put some thought into it and my suggestion to them was to buy any supplies and gadgets that would make it as easy as possible to vape as opposed to smoking.
So I told them to buy not 1 but 2 pass-through (in case one breaks), to buy at least an extra battery, to get a mdel with larger batteries so they wouldn't be constantly recharging them and to get a good variety of liquids and as soon as they decided which they preferred to place an order for a larger bottle.
in the very first few days, between my learning curve and the kits not working reliably, it was a bit of a struggle but I was able to get over it and now I have acquired enough supplies and I have a good enough method that I don't see an eventuality where I would need to go buy smokes.
Once your vaping kit is error proof, if you still have the desire to smoke an analog, I would look at your kit again and see if maybe it's underpowered or you are not using it properly. For my money the throat hit and "smoking sensation" I get from vaping is equivalent to what I used to get from smokes.
But at first, some combination of Atty, liquid and battery power contributed to giving me a less than satisfactory feeling. I was determined to make it work because occasionally I got some good hits so I ordered a more powerful atty and larger batteries and now I get a good hit about 90% of the time.
So in your case it may be that your kit is not powerful enough for you in terms of throat hit and nicotine content.
in that case, I would buy something that delivers more punch and I would get juices with the highest nicotine content as well as the same juice without nicotine. That way maybe you can mix it yourself until you find the ideal mix without poisoning yourself.
