Problems with Vapor 4 Life, but Chad took care of it.

On 9/15 I ordered 4 bottles of WOW 555. Got the order real fast-9/17. When I opened the package it was 4 bottles of regular 555. The minute I saw the error I got on the forum and PM'd Chad. He instantly PM'd me back saying he would send out the corrected bottles that day. No email no tracking number nothing! Thursday 09/23 still no order. All the orders I have ever made were here within 3 days. PM'd Steve...no reply at all. Called V4L to get a voicemail and leave a message. They finally called me back and said that Chad did not send them out on Friday as promised, but they think they went out either Monday or Tuesday. Well here it is Saturday,mail has already come and still no package. I have done everything everyone suggested. I have PM'd Chad and Steve. I have called them twice. Still don't have the right juice. I don't know what's up!!!!

Well it hasn't been a full week yet. Sometimes USPS hits snags and can take up to a week to get the stuff to you. I doubt that's what has happened but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

...I ordered a new carrying case and car charger today from them, and am waiting to see if everything arrives correct *crosses fingers*...
Update: I received my carrying case and my car charger today, exactly as ordered. I ordered on Wednesday evening, received a shipping notice thursday afternoon, and got it today, and I live in the south, so V4L is consistently shipping fast to me.

I am starting to also lose faith in V4L. I had issues with my last order (which I completely blame on USPS, as stated on another thread) but now this next order-same thing with USPS. However, I was kind of disappointed that when I contacted customer support and told them the USPS told me that my order was being sent back to them because the zip code was transposed, it was obvious that whoever responded to me didn't even read my email. They just restated what it says on the USPS tracking site-missent and I should get it soon. That was on the 23rd, and haven't gotten it yet. I am about 20 minutes away fro V4L, and have never had problems with getting orders from any other vendors. So I think it is odd that 2 in a row would be having problems.

I can't afford to order a ton of stuff at once, so when I order it is because I am close to being out of supplies. Part of the reason I quit analogs was the expense, but I find I am spending the same if not more on vaping. And I can't wait 2 weeks for my orders. I think I may try someone else next time just so I have another option. Since I swtiched to KR808, I have only bought from V4L and have not looked into other suppliers.

V4L cool carts have a strange flavor to them and they don't always fit the battery - my emery boards are doing double duty - but when emailed - they offered to send new batteries - other than that, I have no problem with V4L - their flavors are great, prices are good, discounts on sales are the best I've found...just don't like the new cool carts...

why don't you just go to v4l in person?

If I were 2-3 hours away from them, I would just go in person...20 minutes away? shheeeeet

I have thought of that, but I once saw somewhere on ECF I saw that someone asked if that were possible, and not sure if they liked that idea. I think I'll email them to check. If I didn't have to pay shipping, I could buy that much more!

And if your order is missing half of what you ordered, you can fix it right then and there! Everyone should drive there! Great Idea!

Mi528hz you pretty much said it right when you said the minute you speak up about sub-par or even god forbid, bad service from V4L, expect to get flamed by the fanboys of the kr808 cult. When I responded to the last thread about V4L, I was immediatly called into question. I couldnt possibly be correct because I had only posted 10 times and 7 were in that 1 thread. I guess it never dawned on them that maybe that was the 1st time I actually felt like chiming in my 2 cents about a bad experience and I totally empathized with that poster about trying to rectify a situation with a what I thought to be highly reputable company. I use this forum like most others as a resource for information so I can get a little insight into other vapers experiences re: Equipment and Retailers, Troubleshooting and basically trying to keep my finger on the pulse of what is happening in this great community I am lucky enough to have found and be a part of. I think its a little funny how when you say anything bad about this company so many people jump to there defense without being a little objective. They themselves have admitted on numerous occasions and threads that they have experienced numerousproblems. I have yet to see any other retailer backpedal and make excuses repeatedly as to why" isolated " incidents have been springing up. Whats funny is that so many people applaud the fact that the customer servvice manager has posted his number on numerous threads but has any one ever stopped to wonder why does he have to in the 1st place? Has Madvapes, Clouds of Vapor, Nhaler, AlienVisions, Litecigusa or LiquidXpress just to name a few of the companys that i have ordered from in the last month had to do the same? I think not. I have had 2 issues with orders placed with these companies, were they big deals? no but crazy as it sounds and here is a novel concept that V4L might want to look into. They said they would fix the problem and here is the craziest part of the scenario, they did. Got a bad charger from Madvapes, boom David sent me one out no question asked, had 2 Hello16 batteries I got from Nhaler for co-workers fail, talked to sean and he said send em to him 2 more will be on the way. I sent emails and called these companies amybe once regarding the problem and they got right back to me, fixed it and i came away wondering how I can get some of these guys to teach there brand of customer service to other industries I am forced to deal with,(cable,DMV,Phone Company). When I tried to cancel or amend an order with V4L 10 minutes within placing it, I was told via email 6 or so hours later, My order was in an uneditable state and furthermore, since I had ordered the the wrong carto's( this was early on when I had just started and didnt know that a 510 would not support their carto's without an adapter) I should just buy an adapter cuz their carto's perform so well. Then this so called order that couldnt be edited didnt even ship for 5 days because they told me that they were having server problems. I was so ...... that if you go to there sit and look under blank wow cartos my review is there dated sept 8. Thats me from shoreline wash. Well I mean what do I know I couldnt possibly be expected to know what I am talking about or know anything, I mean I only got 12 posts......lol

My experience has been that the cool cartos fit the "latest" batteries (XL, regular, auto or manual) V4L sells, but not any of the batts not labeled as "newest" or "latest". I have some of all the batts V4L sells, including two "latest", and the cool cartos only fit the later models. So if you don't have a latest/greatest? battery, the cool cartos are a waste of money. See if you can get V4L to replace the cool carts with the wow carts. Just my $0.02 USD. :2cool:

Well, Vapor4Life has a fairly good reputation, but as I understand it, they have been having some issues lately.

You have every right to be frustrated at this point. If I were in your shoes, I would probably send everything back, ask for a refund, and take my business elsewhere.

Lots of other places sell Kr808D-1 stuff - VaporNine, ElectroNicStix, CigEasy, LiteCigUSA, etc.


Hmmm. Looks like some things never change. This has been a problem with them since day one...nearly two years ago...not just "lately."
 
this is the third time i have tried this. something way goofy going on. i received a juice order today and 1 of the bottles was broken and made a large mess

there now i'm editing my post. anyway called them and was told by the recording I was 2nd in line. after 5 or so minutes i progressed to 1rst in line and then another recording asking to take a message.

Still waiting for the call back. I got all of our 808 stuff from them and could buy juice alot cheaper elsewhere but have always liked them. WTF????

Problem fixed, thanks Robert. Hit #1 for sales, (I called again) and got Robert. He said he would send another bottle. I had forgotten to check my coffee supply earlier and it was low) asked him if I could purchase a bottle of coffee and he said he would swnd it with the caramel so I did and got free shipping. Guess it ended Ok. But i think I'm finished doing business with them.

I order from many places; however, in the year since I started as a customer, I can say that I have NEVER had any problem with my order, the shipping, or anything else. If you have a problem with Walmart or Macy's, do you run off to their discussion boards and post your bad experience, or do you just go to the store and try to settle your differences there?

All these people including myself, went to the store to settle our differences there but, with no results. Then we ran to the discussion boards and posted our bad experiences. Thank you for your concern though.
