Still no package, but they finally called me.

I talked to a girl named Christy(kristy?)

She said that they would reship it. I said, great, but what would be even nicer is to ship it overnight, since it would be about two weeks since I first ordered by the time I got it.

She countered with, "well, it seems like it's the post office's fault..overnight shipping is 25.00...we could offer it to you for 20.00"

I told her that regardless of who's fault it is, paying the 25.00 shipping to satisfy me is better for them in the long run, with me recommending them to friends and continuing using them for my ecig needs. And really, it just seems like the good-business thing to do.

She talked to her supervisor and said they would do that.

So, I guess I'll be getting my package either tomorrow or the next day.

It was cool of them to overnight it...that quelled the bad taste I got from not being able to reach them.
Here's to hoping you get your order 100% correct tomorrow, Painterface.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/121721-new-member-problems-vapor4life.html

I originally posted under the New Members [see above link] forum because that was the only place the board would let me post at the time. Since my original posting, my order problems have been taken care of.

I registered here so because I was having problems with my order from Vapor 4 Life; I kept getting sent the wrong thing. Three times. I sent emails, and even called, but kept getting sent the wrong thing. Frustrated, I came here to get more info, and a possible new supplier for my favorite e-juice, Virginia.

Well, all the people here were very helpful, and Chad @ Vapor 4 Life contacted me, personally built my order while I was on the phone with him, personally handed my order to the mailman, and sure enough, I received what I was supposed to. I'll also mention that what was included in that order compensated me adequately for all the previous mistakes. I'll be doing business with them again, but I'd really prefer to have Chad handle all my orders from now on, lol!

Conclusion: Vapor 4 life exceeds expectations on customer service, but has room for improvement with regards to order fulfillment accuracy. If your order from Vapor 4 Life and have any problems, try contacting Chad; He'll take care of you.

I got the package woo!

The one I had them express mail next day...still haven't gotten the original package. Who knows where it went.

I *think* everything in the order was right. I really don't remember everything in the original order. It was a 160 dollar order. Lots of stuff.

It's taking a bit of getting used to..I have a joye 510 manual and all the 808's are auto(which I'm thinking I made a mistake but oh well, live and learn)

Next step...little sister or glv2! :p

Here, I don't know if this will help or not, but I dug it out from the USPS website;

"If expected First Class® or Priority Mail® has not arrived within five (5) Postal business days from the mailing date, you should:

Call 1-800-ASK-USPS (1-800-275-8777) where a customer service representative will document your concern, OR email us your concern." The web form for their email is here: USPS - Frequently Asked Questions

You might also try contacting the sending post office. Pretty sure this is the number for the one V4L uses; (847) 251-6039

This is good information StormFinch. I've copied it and saved it in my files. Thanks!

Ok, so a slight correction to my older post. I've also since received an additional shipment from them, and have one currently in transit. It appears that they think it's better to randomly replace items you ordered that they don't have in stock with something else, instead of saying that it's back ordered. They could at least call or email and give you an option of waiting or knowing what the substitute may be...

These guys have been a joke. I will not go back there again.

HaHa. Thats hilarious. Even when you called them and told them you didn't get what you ordered they had NO IDEA what was going on in their own company. you would think that someone on top would fill customer service rep chad in that when people get the wrong stuff it's a courtesy and that the right stuff is on the way. Imagine how much money they are losing by not telling the people that answer the phones this crucial bit of information.

oh yeah, I forgot to mention..

I got a different color case,

got different color batteries(I knew that would be different though, because I mentioned something on the phone...wouldn't have known if I didn't mention it)

and different flavor juice

but at that point I was just happy to finally get my friggin order that it didn't matter as much

oh! annnd three of the blank cartomizers(along with one ry4) doesn't screw all the way on three of the five batteries I got. weird.

it's kind of funny...I went with them because I heard their customer service was so spectacular...then it took almost two weeks to finally talk to someone on the phone and my order was switched around without telling me. ah well.

Wow. I'm very sorry to hear that folks have had problems with V4L. I've placed about six orders with them during the past couple of months and have never had a problem. Shipments have been within 3 days or fewer, my orders have been correct and complete, and some carto samples have always been included.

I wish I knew what I was doing differently from those who've had problems so I could share "my secret". :( I'm thankful for all the info I've received in ECF, and especially thankful for people sharing negative experiences as well as the good. All information is good information!

I'm unable to post in the "Reviews of suppliers" for some reason, possibly because I'm a new member, but I seem to be having a problem with my order from Vapor4Life.

I have moved this thread to the Reviews of suppliers sub-forum for you. Also, I merged the two threads for you.

I was never shorted on items that I ordered or even got the wrong items.

Now, I have orderd from v4l several times in the past, BUT my last and final order was about ten months ago. I placed an order and used my debit card, and unknown to me, they charged my checking account twice for the order and I did not know about it until I got a notice from my back that my account was overdrawn, and i was also charged overdraft fees and daily overdraft fees until i got the account in order.

I was furious, but tried to keep my cool and decided to work with V4L, spoke to steve several times, who looked into it, and about a week later he told me that there was no proof that i was charged twice by them as thier merchanct shows one transation, even though I had the proof and had already sent him a copy of my bank stamtent showing the two charges from vapor4life on the same date and same amount BUT two differnt transation numbers, after going back and forth for about it, i was told that there was nothing that they can do about it, and they would make it up in a future order by sending extras.

I right then I went to the bank, and had them investigate the fraudulent charge, they reversed the charge from V4L, so ... I got my money back and all fees were creditd back to me, I will never ever do business with them again.... hmmm, I feel better now that I got that off my mind... :)

I am really surprised that no V4L fanboys have shown up here, to tell us we are just a bunch of complainers! When I started two threads about this, I was jumped all over by a couple of there die hard fans. As if getting the run around from V4L was not bad enough, these guys had to get there two cents in. One of them tried quoting me to show me how I was wrong and he was right. I had my reply all figured out for him and, when I went to reply V4L had locked the thread, not before Mark replied thank you and how he appreciates his support, to the fanboy running me down. Now that is customer service.....NOT!! I am still waiting for the correct juices I paid for to get here. It has been two weeks!

Congrats on getting your package!

With regards to your order, what about contacting V4L and asking for a copy of your original invoice?

What is 'little sister' and 'glv2'?

except that I WILL contact them about the cartomizers not fitting half the batteries!

Okay, now I'm scared after reading this.
Same thing has happened to me, Vapor4Life has charged my debit card twice. I wrote them early this morning to try to resolve this issue and asked they get right back to me. I have heard nothing. No excuse for that! Personally, I have really enjoyed their juices although a couple of my orders were missing juices (replaced by another). V4L better get their act together because now there are just too many reliable vendors who will indeed give the service and product they promise.

I knew I was going to jinx my luck with that quote...I ordered four boxes of WOW Cartomizers and received four boxes of the Premium Cartos (not the same, of course). Fortunately, I like the "older' V4L cartos for flavors I don't vape a ton of at a time (specialites and my science experiment juices) and I can mix just enough to fill the Preimum carto instead of almost having to double my receipt for a WOW carto. Just wanted to let everyone know to check your V4L orders carefully. :)

My last WOW carto order got me some CoolCarts. I just ordered some more WOW carts yesterday, so I guess I'll find out what I get in a couple days?!?

Why can't they just make it where you can't add them to the cart like some of the juices if they're out of stock? Then you'd at least know not to be expecting what you wanted...
