Just tested my three platinum 801 3-holers, and none of them spun. All heated up, too, but I expected them to as I'd Ohmed them out when I got them.
Prodigy Atomizer problems anyone?

I cant tell you how many penstyle at"s Ive spun before I got it through my thick head not to twist the crap outta them and I havent lost one since ...they outlast the damn oem penstyle batts now..now those are some of the biggest piles of junk ...and here I am prodigy shipped yea!! about to solve that problem for good
lets just hope you don't revert back and plagued with .... spinning the atty's ... LOL
Vaping at higher voltages with new devices is a learning experience, whether people want to admit it or not ... its a whole new ballgame!
Im fairly confident I wont revert back I only snug them on now by the ring not the barrel and just enough that they make contact I had never spun a 901 and I went from that to a penstyle or 801 and I twisted like 3 of them apart 2 of them brand new ...theres nothing like being down to one atty over a holiday weekend to teach you how to baby these things while waiting for new ones to show up
I did discover however if you twist one and didnt break the wires a small hose clamp gently tightened down will keep one together while not excessivily attractive it can keep one chugging along....I thought about epoxy or glue or what not but then I didnt want to be tasting my handywork either
lol. you should be able to add a dab, smear it, wipe down the excess and be good to go. i thought i saw another thread on here about someone who twisted one, but it still worked, so they added a dab of hot glue, and they set!
I must be lucky (at this point) since I do not have any PS devices yet - still waiting for the arrival - my 510 attys 4 have been used for a month 6 are in standby mode - all measure between 2.9 and 3.1 with this great 6 dollar meter I got off ebay lol... When I started with Parkers Scorpion atty's a month ago I used all four - rotating between - guessing when my PT arrives I will go with the new ones.. It was reasuring that they still measured up however....
I'm new to this and may husband and I have been using 801s for a while. We have a prodigy coming and we're wondering if there's any difference in an 801 from one place vs. an 801 from another. Are all DSE801's the same? There can be quite a difference in price. . .does higer price = higher quality in this market?
