Too large Walrus ... We could like add one (make the length roughly 1/4 - 1/2" longer) but asthetically, with the dial *outside* the tube ... it just won't look good. Combine with the added length, and its just not feasible for V1. Perhaps we can look more in to it for the next version :) I'm always open for upgrade/improvements/etc...



Hey Combo ... No, the actual switch/switch housing/wiring/resistor/etc... is NOT user replaceable. I can't warranty something if it was, because God knows what modders would do ;) They housing (that keeps everything within) is actually pinned in.


Something slick me and my friends used to do back in the day's of redboxing...

Mercury switch. You'd be switching resistors instead of quartz timing crystals though. Put a red stripe on the top so when that side is up, you get the "hot" setting. You'd be amazed how small they can make those things.
