just a curious question...i'm not electrically (i would say electronically...but i mean specifically with electric/battery/power) knowledgeable about mods, but i mentioned to my brother (who used to do electric work, soldering, etc) that sometimes there's issues with the bottom spring on the Prodigy connecting to the batteries.
the fixes have been to extend the spring, shave off some of the plastic wrap from batteries, etc, and he asked "why not stick a piece of foil on the end of the spring between it and the batteries?"
the concept being, it will conduct a bigger surface area, and ensure contact from the spring to the battery, right?
is this not applicable, is it a dumb idea, anyone tried...etc??
i don't really have issues with my Prodigy, but there are times it feels weaker than others, which i wonder if it's from the spring not always making optimal contact.
thoughts? flames?
