i pre-ordered the V-1, liked it so much i bought another, wanted to support Steve as much as i could, so i bought the V3 even though i didnt need it. thought i was golden with the tiered warranty program. i've been in and out of hospital so was a little behind in the goings on at PS. so i was shocked when i submited a ticket that my V1 switch has failed. and told no more. huh? what? guess the warranty deal was a big sham. anyway now i never will believe a word from any e-cig vendor. i understand you may not be able to stock most of the parts for V1 because it is custom made PV. but not the switch, you should stock or be able to tell me where i can by the switch. your customer support staff is awful. send them for retraining, like in the t.v. commercial. glad i printed the warranty, it is binding. i will contac the BBB in Tennesee, also will fire off an e-mail to the FDA , the IRS, and contac my lawyer. i may have a law suit for breach of contract.
I'm a little confused. This
thread is dated for today, but it seems like I'm reading something from a year ago...
This is the warranty info I get from Puresmoker's site:
Prodigy V3: 6 month warranty on hard parts. Hard parts include battery tube, adapter, switch, and endcap. Cross
threading is NOT covered under warranty. Replaceable parts carry a 14 day warranty. This includes the washer, spring washer, and stainless steel screw.
Prodigy V2: Limited Lifetime Warranty on hard parts. Hard parts include battery tube, adapter, switch, and endcap. Cross
threading is NOT covered under warranty.
Prodigy V1: 6 month warranty on hard parts. Hard parts include battery tube, adapter, switch, and endcap. All V1's sold are now outside of warranty.
Here's a quote of yours from 6-16-2010 where you talked about ordering your V3.
i own and use 2- Prodigy V-1, one is resistored to 5 volts, one is unresistored 6 volts. i use the 2 tenergy 3 volt lifepo battery's. they both work great.
i just recently bought the Prodigy V3, a work of art, this device is able to use many different battery configurations, so you can vape at any voltage you want from 3.7 to7.4 volts. i needed no kit cause i already have batt's & chargers, so to buy the Prodigy V3 is only 82.50, not bad for a good sturdy vape device. yes , sturdy, Steve the owner of PS made a vid of himself runs his V3 over with the tire of his car , picks it up off the ground and starts to vape.
So, as you can see, you are way past the warranty expiration date. If I am misunderstanding the situation, please let me know at which part so that I may better take pity on your plight as an abused customer.
