I MAY be wrong, but...wont it short the battery if the label is removed?Got mine last night! Still feeling it out, very impressed though. Ran into 2 problems, 1. the batteries are close fit, had to remove the label wrapper from one bat to make it fit. 2. I got the 510 adapter and you have to tighten the atomizer SNUG to get a connection. Hardly real problems, it just scared me at first.
Thank you for that tip.... it was just what I needed!I think I heard this mentioned in another thread, but as with earlier PS devices the tightness of the adapter really does effect the the performance of the V2.
If my adapter is too tight, I have to press really hard on the button to get a hit. Sometimes it doesn't hit. But if I loosen up the adapter just a bit, it hits easily and consistantly.
Perhaps it could be this new atty breaking in, but the V2 seems to really cook the juice. The flavor and vapor are awesome, but I find myself dripping more often.
Actually, with these batteries the label is just a label, the entire case is the negative terminal, which connects to the Prodigy V2 case for conduction.Today 12:58 AMcrashtestjeepQuote:

I have found the same problem with the atomizer screwed in too tight, that is why I couldn't believe I have to snug it so tight on the Prodigy V2. But it turned out the insulator sleeve in the adapter wasQuote:

too high on the inner post. I reassembled the adapter and it works just fine now.

Actually, if the battery without the label is used as the bottom battery, it will be ok, but if it is used as the top battery, it will short circuit the bottom battery as soon as the exposed side of the battery touches the inside of the tube. (effectively grounding the top of the bottom battery and giving the same effect as installing a wire across the bottom battery). This will result in what i call HOT POCKET!!!!!!!
