hey guys. part of the reason i ever started smoking and a big reason i switched to vaping is i just love playing with smoke (or vapor if you like semantics) i don't really want to get into dripping because its a big juice consumption but i am definitely a cloud chaser. any tips on blowing huge clouds without dripping? any advice is much appreciated

Either add Vg (vegetable glycerin) to your e-liquids, or purchase 100% Vg e-liquids from custom-mixed e-liquid vendors. (Dripeez, VapeRite, Virgin Vapors, et al)

Cloud chasers are using sub-ohm rebuildable drippers. You won't be able to compete with them. They are consuming large amounts of e-liquid.

One thing to keep in mind: it takes liquid to produce vapor. So bigger clouds will mean more juice. But bigger clouds can deliver more nic so IMO it evens out as a wash. I recommend a single coil dripper to start with. Get one coil good before you try a dual. Most of my stuff I swing by a local shop to get cause I hate waiting on mail but madvapes comes it mind with some decent options and ok pricing.

The only bad part about dripping is the consumption of liquid in your pants pocket if you decide to keep it there.... dripping is tasty, but also not convenient....even with a Reo....they can get a little messy as well.

If you want decent clouds, good taste, and less juice consumption.....a Taifun rebuildable at 1.0 to a 1.2 ohm coil.
The Kayfun will produce some " even better" clouds, and more VG will give you even MORE clouds as Bad said (with any topper), but as stated already, the Kayfun is a juice muncher.... (hard to beat though...best all around vape in town....Taifun is great as well and uses half to a 2/3rds less juice)

Just throwing opinions out there...

Good luck in your Vaping journey sir
