Well got some E1 yesterday and like the Stardust they just don't wick for me. Probably due to the 100%VG I make. The juice works great with the E2 XL's or Phoenix which is what I guess I will stay with. Anybody else had problems with these not wicking? I did a very minor mod cutting a small slot on either side of the silicone cap to free up the wick where it entere the tube and it helped a little but still far short of the E2's. Any ideas on how I can get these to work?

I use primarily 100% or 80% VG and with the E1 I had similar issues. I replaced the short topwick with a longer wick and cut tiny v notches in the silicone cap to accomodate the larger wick and it works much better and at a higher voltage than before. Have you tried the long wick CE4+ v2(stardust) that DV sells or are you using the short wicks? I've never had any problems with those not wicking, unless they needed a good cleaning and only if I was using a really heavy dark juice like worthors. <~which will clog up just about anything after a week of regular use

Has anyone been using the Apollo tank and how r they working? Does the interchangeable innerds sit on top of the post like the e1 or do they screw down like vivi nova? I like the way it looks and 5ml capacity is a plus too!

The innards for the Apollo screw in.

Just wanted to say thanks Eric for the great service. Placed my 3rd order Wednesday late evening, shipped Thursday morning, received today - Saturday morning.

I been using this Knuckle drip tip on an Apollo tank on a mini Provari all day and man, it looks hilarious but works soooo good!
Knuckle Drip Tip for 510 - Black Delrin
That's my new favorite drip tip, gonna have to order a few more for each tank.

I like all 3 of the E series E1,E2, and E3 but the Apollo is the best imo because the replacement screws in instead of just sitting there.
Thanks again!

I have found that if I keep it vertical, there are no gurgling issues, if the center gets liquid in it it will flood a bit.

I do have it vertical most all the time. I usually have it on my pv with a lanyard or standing upright on my desk. It seems to be sucking juice up the side of the silicon cap but I'm not sure. When I change atty it works fine for a few ml and then starts again. I don't get any juice in the mouth but juice does get down into my battery and that concerns me. I will try to keep it vertical all the time and see if that solves the problem. This has been the best tank I've tried up until I started having the gurgling and leaking so I'm really hoping to solve the issue.

I have a few reports of leaking, I've had one leak myself. I took it apart, cleaned it and made sure it was dry before I put it back together, I cranked the bottom back on fairly hard and the same with the innard, it seems to have worked.

I did do something different though, I used a syringe instead of dripping into the tank, for me it seemed to work.
If yours is still stubborn, let me know on your next order maybe a new bottom will help, I can add one for you to try see if it fixes that one?

I've been keeping it vertical even while vaping and it has greatly reduced the gurgling. I was vaping it horizontal but storing it vertical. I guess I'll have to order some of the swivel driptips to use with these until they get that issue fixed. It seems a better seal is needed similar to the Nova's and then these will be perfect.:)

Eric, I don't know about anybody else, but my V8 is working great! I have had to throw out my previously learned power vs volts and resistance. No big deal now just set it where it taste best, mine runs about .3 volt lower than where I set the rest of my VV's. I use around 3.8 volts on the V8 for most of my stuff.
When the newer version comes out I can think of only three changes that comes to mind:
1. First make the battery back easier to get off.
2. When it does a reset have the voltage come back in at a lower voltage setting. Fortunately I haven't toasted anything yet.
3. Most importantly-Make it flat bottom so that my Apollo E-2 with the Gyriodal stainless steel drip tip attached won't fall over. I can see something getting broken soon. Probably my big toe!!

It is a great device that needs a few minor changes, but none that will stop me from using it all the time!!!

That Knuckle thing looks awesome! Eric where do you find this cool stuff? You rock, babe!

Question - How is that new little VV box mod, now that you've had it awhile? I hate to buy something before people have been using it awhile.

It's actually a USA made product, but mine is sadly a Chinese knockoff, still works and performs the same but the original idea was another vendors.

The V8, it's nice, there are a few issues here and there but that's to be expected, nothing that is rampant though. A broken latch here, a bad circuit there, that kind of thing.

I couldn't get mine off when I got it so I had to get a friend to do it for me. But I took an emery board and lightly filed the hook part of the latch. Just be careful because I did it a little too much and it's looser than I would like and now I'm trying to figure out a way to make it tighter. :(

Thanks for the suggestion Good Dog! I'll give it a try. Good luck on putting some of the plastic back, maybe just a very tiny amount of epoxy glue possible and then refile?
