Alcohol prohibition: Did not work.. Caused tons of underground revenue, crime, murder and illness (un-regulated moon shine), cost tons in taxes

Street drug prohibition: Ditto (Although it is still in existence all above apply)

E-cig: Same will apply

So, my question: Assuming the worst case and the guberment decides again to legislate morality.... what do you think the street response will be? I figure a large portion of the current board has went around the second prohibition in their lives... is that what will happen? Will they make criminals out of those unwilling to inhale cancer causing cigarettes again?

Will they be sold on the streets along side other street drugs? Rather, will the nicotine shoot up in value? Will gangs develop to gain revenue? Will people start having turf wars to keep up with demand and get the best profit margins? Will the DEA have yet another reason to stay in existence?

Prohibition of any substance is unconstitutional and simply does not work. It's policy position based on Utopian thinking.. People shouldn't do it, so we will spend tax dollars to stop it. It won't stop it, nor slow it, yet we will hold the higher moral ground for taking a policy stand against (x). E-cigs will join that group if banned. Only difference is that the e-cig is safe. Yup, drug laws don't stop drugs(doesn't even slow them)... prohibition didn't stop drinking... and a ban will only make a black market for E-cigs and put people that use them as "criminal" the same as ......, murders, drug dealers, etc. etc. etc.

This is where I start to sing "God Bless America.... land that I ... don't want to comment on"

Peace
