EDIT: Protank doesnt suck. One of the heads sucked, or the "remove the top wick" method caused leaking. I switched to the other head included and my now my Protank works beautifully.

Just got a Protank..vaping a mostly VG peach juice... Cant seem to get a single puff..not even close. Nothing but gurgling and leaking...wasted about 6 ml of juice now.. All it does is leak out of the bottem or get sucked up through the mouthpiece..

Not only was this unit built terribly crooked with a oblong shaped glass tank...it doesnt hit AT ALL.. Nothing but wasting my juice.

Very disappointed in this unit. No wonder its only 16 bucks.. piece of crap made in China. Never buying Kanger .... again.

And I wonder if people in new members forum even try the product before they go recommending it to new users...

What a scam...

I am very partial to the ProTank. I have 4 of them and each one performs flawlessly. Nothing is simpler than unscrewing the bottom, putting juice in it, screwing it back together and vaping. I also have Vision Vivi 3.5 and 2.5 ml along with Kanger T2 and T3. My current fave is the ProTank. There is something seriously wrong if you're getting leaks and bad tastes. Instead of sitting in the cactus and howling could I venture a suggestion to get in touch with the vendor?

Also do you have V1 or V2? V1 caused a halt to production while problems were corrected. V2 is the current correct version.

i picked up a protank at vapebash and have been using it pretty steadily since. i had some gurgling issues after about a week so i took it apart and removed the top piece of wick and replaced it with two .6mm silica wicks. put it back together and its been going strong. Ive had to do the same thing with my old mt3s. the heads are similar on both of these so its not surprising that they have the same issue. still its an easy fix. takes about 5 minutes. i haven't noticed a change in flavor or vapor production so it works for me.

I even tried the "let it sit overnight" method.. Didnt work..

Nothing but gurgling and messy juice leaking all over the place..

Letting it sit is not going to make a difference if it's leaking. Leaking is more likely due to a crushed or missing gasket or something not being tight enough.

I have 2 protanks, sorry your having problems. I havent had any problems with gurgling, but didnt like the taste. I rewicked my coils with cotton, and made new coils. Wrap coils with a 4/40 screw and used a bead needle to pull wick into coils

What is this bead needle you speak of? Looks like it could be a pretty useful little gadget.

this would work too basically a needle threader

FYI alot of stuff rebuilders use can be got from jewelry making suppliers. FLush cut wire cutters, really delicate needle nose, wire straighteners you name it.

EDIT: one variant of a bead needle

Wow. You got a bad 'un there. I've been using the Protank for weeks and have never had a problem. No leaking, no gurgling, gives good taste and vapour. I use 50/50 and 100% VG juice.
As a regular cartotank user i find them a little airy but nothing that would make me not buy more.
Sounds basic but did you ensure the head is screwed down tight ?
If it aint working then you shouldn't have to muck about with the wicks. Send it back.
