FaceMeat - by rebuild, what do you mean? Replacing the top wick or replacing both the top wick and the coiled wick?

Rebuilding means to wrap a new coil and put in new wicks. There are lots of tutorials on youtube. The protank, evod, and even vivi nova all rebuild similarly, but with bottom coils (like the protank) you need to trim the wicks very short.

To address the OP, it sounds like the atomizer head is not screwed onto the base fully. Otherwise it is a defective head.

I'm jumping into this thread to ask, I'm trying to ask where I need to go from my E-go T to a clearo tank when my atomizers finally crap out. There are a lot of posts where the Protank has to be tweaked to work right, I was thinking of buying a Vivi Nova. I don't have the knowledge or patience to rebuild what I buy, I'm trying to quit smoking, not trying to get into a techno-world. Which is the better choice to keep it simple?

Glad you warned us about how terrible them there Protank thingies are. I would hate to get stuck with something like that.. But I did buy one of these about 3 weeks ago...... kanger-pro-tank.jpg. And I find it works great. It may leak a little when it gets low on juice as a full tank acts as a means to keep it from leaking.. But other than that I have had the same head on it for three weeks now.... maybe try one of these?

Seriously man. Have you tried completely filling it and see if it doesnt flow less liquid from the tank.. its like tipping your bottle of juice upside down. It doesnt leak out unless you squeeze it..

You don't HAVE to rebuild a Vision brand Vivi Nova. It is a pretty good little clearo. GO SEMINOLES! FIGHT TEAM FIGHT! :vapor:

Depending on what juices you like you might want to pick up a metal tank for the vivi nova. SOme juice do nasty things to the plastics on some tanks.

Hello fellow Floridian, thanks for the reply. I'm trying to keep with the KISS principle, Keep It Simple Stupid, because that is this a whole new world. The E-go T is working now, I'm struggling with flavors and not the device, I'm looking down the road when this is my only option and I want to get away from filling the little tanks, I'm not into serious all day vaping, this has kept me away from smoking during the day for several days now. Go Noles!

THe ego T uses the same ego tank system the ego-C did. I am going to be honest with you here. I thought it was me not being able to taste the juices until I picked up some CE5 clearomizers and my protank. HUGE difference in flavor. There are alot of people on this forum that like the ViVi novas. I have not yet tried one though it is on my short list of things to try. :)

EDIT: On the kiss principal when I do pick up a ViVi Nova I will also be picking up a metal tank for it because I just do not want to have to think about WHICH juice I put in it or worry about melting the plastic. WHich is really why I picked up the protank its glass. :)

Thanks. I appreciate your response. I love this forum, a lot of people in the same boat, trying, or successfully, getting away from cigarettes.

I'm not sure there is really a difference. I'm not sure a "V2" even exists. Some of the early tanks had gaps in the glue that bonds and seals the glass to the metal.

THe one I ordered today was clearly marked on the site as a V2.

BTW preorders are being taken now for V3. I just hated how it looked.

Grrr I got confuse I though you were talking about Vamo. I didn't know there was a v1 or v2 protank
