Protected CR2 batteries and the Super6

The Super6 takes one 3.7 volt protected 14500 for 3.7 volt vaping or two Ultrafire 3.0 Volt Cr2's for 6 volt vaping.

I have confirmed that the protected CR2's from smokejuice-uk do not fit the super six as they are too wide.


As far as the Lifepo4's from south summit or the like, it appears someone had one vent on them in a different mod, so i can't recommend those at this time.

Hey David..I'm sure it's burried in a post somewhere but can you again list the Maximum battery dimensions as far as diameter or width and maximum overall length?

I realize I have these...I didn't know they were LiFePO though. Check Guangzhou Star Batteries. They list the mAh rating as 250 which is still inaccurate. I'll stick with the unprotecteds because the ultrafire's, while not great, definitely last longer.

14250s will work in the Super Six won't they? I have some AWs, unprotected of course, that are rated at 350 mAh but seem to outlast all my rechargeable CR2s. Mine are rated 3.7V, but with an HV atty I get a decent 5-6 volt vape at close to four hours.

The next question is: Will the protected Cr2's fit in the Super6? They are a total of 2mm longer together, so all you should have to do is remove all washers from your button center post and they should fit fine.

Yeah I'd be interested as well in hearing if they work. Might be good with a HV atomizer. My charger I use for my CR2s is selectable 3.0V/3.7V so it would probably charge them.

I made up this little chart a while back, no one commented on it, so I'm not sure how accurate it is:

3.7 Volts with Standard Atomizer (3.2 Ohm) = 4.28 Watts
5 Volts with Standard Atomizer (3.2 Ohm) = 7.81 Watts
6 Volts with High Voltage Atomizer (4.2 Ohm) = 8.58 Watts
6 Volts with Standard Atomizer (3.2 Ohm) = 11.25 Watts
7.4 Volts with High Voltage Atomizer (4.2 Ohm) = 13.04 Watts
7.4 Volts with Standard Atomizer (3.2 Ohm) = 17.11 Watts

So looks like a 7.4V vape with a HV atomizer would be similar to a 6V vape with standard atomizer. If I did the math right.

so either

I didn't realize they made a 5.2 Ohm. Mine state they are 4.2 Ohm, but not sure how accurate that is. I think 12 watts would be doable, 17 watts seems way up there, I wonder if it would fry atomizers constantly?

Also, where can you buy the 5.2 Ohms?

I like 5v but found 6v to be a it much for me.... Now I am going to order some CR2's for my S6... Got a link for good quality CR2's? I am not concerned about price as I only want the best on my S6

Depends..if you want just the batteries I've gotten all my batteries at madvapes..slightly more expensive and he doesn't have a charger but he ships quick..careful though he has protected CR2s on his site but they don't look like they'll fit in the S6 (like 2mm too long) ..like his batteries too because they're all true/trust/ultra fire...and I like that he lists battery dimmensions on his descriptions..

have found a couple of sets on ebay though that were like 6 CR2s and a charger for around $20..just gotta keep checking ebay...though when I search I usually search for 15270 battery..
