I use the UltraFire CR123 3.0/3.7 volt one from DealExtreme. It does require magnet spacers, also from DealExtreme, but its easy once you get the hang of it. I've left batteries on it all night and it has never overcharged them. Seems pretty well made. You can also charge 3.7 volt batteries in it.

That's the one I use too. Your only other choice is a 3.0v multicharger or cr123 charger with 3.0v setting. If you go that route you will need to use magnetic spacers.

I've used about 4 or 5 of those cr2 chargers from DX and only 1 or 2 have worked consistently. They're very poorly made and I noticed that they tend to have something loose rattling inside. Probably some shoddy soldering.

I had a close call with batteries that were not protected. I will only use protected batteries now. Metal tube style mods, with stacked batteries, the case is negative on most of them. If the top battery gets a nick or tear in the plastic casing and touches the outer tube, you end up with a dead short on the bottom battery.
My brass pipe PV suddenly quit working, and the bottom was getting hot. I quickly popped the bottom cap off, and the bottom battery was hot. I found the tear in the top battery cover, and figured it out.
Placing an insulated sleeve inside the tube, and changing to protected batteries was my solution.

I left some batteries on this charger for a real long time the other day and it did slightly overcharge them. So while it stops normal charging, it must trickle charge a little. So don't want to leave them on more than 3 or 4 hours probably.

I have been using 2 Energizer lithium primary cr123s in my Silver Bullet while waiting for my rechargables to come in. After using 6V I cannot go back. I get about 2 days out of them which is very expensive. As with all the Lithium Ion batteries do not keep vaping when they start to die. Overdraining is a major cause of problems. I did it yesterday because I was tired and not paying attention. I checked them and they were warm.

Candle power forums battery geeks after extensive testing recommend AW batteries and the Pila charger. I got the Pila and need to get the AWs.

I have read of 3 instances of CR2's failiing. In one case, it was reported that they were South Summit CR2's and in another case, they were Blue CR2's that were obtained off ebay (no brand name on them) and in the third case, i do not know what brand they were. I was told that there have been no reported failures with the Green UltraFire Brand, however i cannot confirm that and regardless, due to the possibility of CR2's failing, I strongly recommend against the use of any CR2's in my device or any other device for that matter.

The Super6 takes a 14500 protected battery and the old T1 takes a protected 16340 and that is what I recommend being used in them.

There are some protected Cr2's just coming onto the market and i am going to look into the possibility of reaming the S6 out in order to accept these as they are very tight fit. I will keep you posted.

Best regards,

David

Did you find a cr2 that will work in the Super6?

Ok I went on the site to get batteries for. My p18 I was reading the description of the 3.7v 16340 and they say for P 16. I was going to assume they will fit in my p18 but if you disagree with running it at 7v then I won't . I am gonna wait to hear back before I buy since I would like to buy everything at once . Anyone have a idea if I can or can't or shouldn't run it at that high v

This thread only applied to the discontinued Super 6 when using CR2 lithium batteries.

The Precise 18650 you can stack lifepo or IMR batteries in no problem for 6+ volt vaping, the only thing being, atomizers don't last as long due to the added voltage.
