It comes down to personal preference. If you have a PS passthrough you're running your 801 at 5v.

IMHO, the 510 vapes better than the other an 801 at 3.7v - the Protege's voltage.

I would agree, I like 801 at 5v but 510 is really nice at 3.7 but as lotus said it's all PERSONAL PREFERENCES. Caps not to be a jerk just to emphasize it.

I have to agree, the 510 is much better at 3.7 volts than the 801. Have both a 510 and 801 Prodigy, originally planned to get the 510 without resistor for an 18650, but really like it at 5v.

So I ordered the Protege for the 510 at 3.7. Even ordered some stainless atomizers to go with it.

It is a little workhorse! And of the 5 original 510/Dura atomizers I got 4 months ago, only one has burnt out.

Just a bit of clarification. The 801 actually runs a little over 4v under-load on the PS PT. The output is usually 5v depending on the USB port.

*Correction it runs at about 4.3V under-load

Gibby getting her voltage load tests done ... I'm liking it :D

I prefer the 510 on the Protege ... Then 901 ... Then 801 ... in that order.
PT/Prodigy ... 801 ... then 510 .... then 901 .... in that order :)
