d0kieSmok's method worked great for "making" a stainless steel atty.

Stick an old 510 battery (I used a working auto that was worthless) led side first into the chuck of a cordless drill for a makeshift lathe, screw on your black, silver, or titanium atty and just spin the drill while holding a piece of sandpaper against the atty . I used 220 grit to strip the black paint and 1000 grit to finish.

Took about a minute and it's the smoothest, shiniest thing in my house. :D

That's nice to know, thanks for sharing. I wondered if the metal housing was SS.

You can always put them in a drill and sand the paint off then polish them out... That's what I did with a few... Takes about ten minutes with the right tools...

OK I didn't see the others posts about this.. I taped one end and sanded it down in the drill. Then repeated the same for the other end... I then walked to the high speed buffing wheel at work and shined the heck out of it lickety split... All in all about three or four minutes... Done. One matching ss atty for the Protege...

Which is back today thank you Steve... Works like a champ now.

Dunno, it's really smooth and shiny. Time will tell how they hold up. I started to use some metal polish, which leaves a film kinda like wax, but decided to just leave it bare for now and see what happens.

White ones??? Yeah, those would be a good place to experiment ;-)

Yea mine were also weird colors... The Gold or copper looking ones did not look good once I got them... Not my favorite color.. But one good thing about colored atties.. You always know which one is which.. I run three at all times.. One for the fruity flavors, one for the RY4 and Marlboros.. and one for the coffees for in the mornings... I try to keep them separated as to not mix up flavors too much.. Seems to work for me. Plus I can easily see which one is the oldest. And about to go.. lol..

I like cartomizers.

reasons:

-I like how long a single refill lasts.
-I Like the flavor they produce.
-I can carry 2 cartomizers with me and the protege and don't have to worry
about topping off or any other hassles that get annoying for me.
-I like that I've never gotten fluid in my mouth.

A carto lasts 5-10 refills for me as long as I don't vape them dry and get a burnt tastes. Seems that once I get that burnt taste, It's hard to get rid of. So I found stopping when the vapor starts to drop off extends the life of the cart flavorwise.

Regardless of model, all juice I've tried have tasted better in a carto.

** I have m201, 401, 402, 801, 901, blu, 510 kits **

I still use the 510 and 201, but only at home where it isn't as much of a hassle to maintain them.
