I had been holding off on purchasing a protege until Steve released the 808 adaptor. I shot him a pm requesting one be made for me and to my suprise he agreed! Well I shouldn't have been suprised, Steve and Casey rock! Works absolutely perfect!! :pNo increase in legth, not to "airy" of a draw like with my 901 to cart adaptor I purchased somewhere else for my Prodigy. It works perfect!! Thank you Steve for exceeding my expectations once again!! Couldn't be happier!! :D

Works for me!! LoL. You guys will love it when they are available. It is nothing like the extension adaptors bought for the 901 to carto.. Those are very "airy" IMO... Not sure exactly why Steve picked me to test this adaptor (thanks Steve), but I have found exactly what i've been looking for the past 5 months.. If you enjoy the Ace or any KR808 model, the Atomz adaptor for protege owners is a must... I've noticed a huge difference on refills with the protege/adaptor vs a traditional KR battery with a refilled carto... I can get several refills of a single carto/atomz without any noticable decrease in performance. The draw on a new carto or one refilled 4 times is the same.. Which was not the case for me prior to the protege...Dont really know how else to explain it other than it takes a really good product (KR/Atomz) and makes it GREAT... Personally, I dont see why anyone would buy a 901 adaptor after this is released... The 808 works great for a 901 atty and you have the ability to use the Atomz too. 2 for the price of one...

Yes, the Atomz are Aces! (sorry, couldn't resist)

The kr808s are much improved since I last got a large batch and dissected one. They now have a small metal tube coming from the battery side intake which seems to greatly reduce the burning issues they used to have. I'm wondering just how many refills I can get now.

They don't refill, IMO, as well from the batt end as they used to but that's a small price to pay. I'm using Taryn's spin method, and a dry one will take a good 30 drops of liquid. Unreal.

vaping one right now on a 5v passthrough and they just about match anything I've ever tried for vapor and flavor, without having to drip every 5 puffs!

I just toss the white mouthpiece out and pop on a 901 tip that I cut 1/4" off of the atty end - they fit perfectly. Keeps the lips from burning on the hot tube and makes refilling a breeze.

Now if I just had an adapter for my Protege :-x

I am sooooooooooooooo confused! I have a Prodigy and a Protege. I have 801 and 901 adapters. I want to use atomz at times.....what the heck do I need to buy????

A kr808 adapter - once Steve has them made. A machine broke and set the timeline back a bit.

You can try an adapter that will go from 801 or 901 to kr808 to use for now from someone like AltSmoke. The one I have goes from 510 to kr808 but it has a really airy draw. I also have a 5v USB PT for the kr808 that was given to me by another vendor (not V4L) which really makes the Atomz rock. Of course it's not very portable, which is part of the attraction of the Atomz to begin with - you can take a few of 'em on the go and not have to mess with refilling, etc.

Or you could just get the $29.99 ACE kit from PS. Get you by for now. Steve also has some XL batts for them that should be in stock soon.

I agree with Lotus on the adaptors that connect to a 901, very "airy" for the cartomizers.. I'd personally save your money and wait for Steve to mass release his adaptor for his protege and prodigy. I own both as well, the protege and prodigy. I have the KR808 adaptor from Steve for the protege and one of the extension adaptors from another vendor for the Prodigy.. Night and Day difference in the draw. Steve's works alot better...I have not used my 801, 901 or 510 since getting this protege and 808 adaptor. Well worth the wait and money if you are looking for a long lasting, hassle free device....IMO...

plugging one hole on the adapter is OK but not as good (imo) as cutting the top of the original 901 adapter as shown by Neko in the beginning of this thread.
I've cut 4 (2 prodigy & 2 protege) and prefer them to the additional piece.

Start with a slight cut and then increase it as needed. "Pretty Simple"

The carts have solved my driving and filling problems at work and on the road.
I really like what they do for the flavors and if mixed correctly there's not much difference from the 501 vapor production.

Thanks again for the pics NekoGurrl
