I tried with several mods, it was always the same. All have adjustable pins, yes. The one I have now has one, too, indeed. Anyway, there are atomizers around keeping a very steady resistance value, even with adjustable pins.
I suppose the spring in Proteus is regarded as stiff enough to prevent such issues?

Yes GG mods usually have quite stiff springs, whereas others don't, which is why you're probably getting such a varied resistance.

Sorry for dropping other brands names, but here you go: of all brands I tried so far, dicodes had the stiffest floating pin and was the best so far with tilemahos. When I was having jumping resistance, it was most of the time due to poor contacts of my hand made spring coil...

Yup, I know. I meant it's not suited for people who build fancy fuseddoubletripletwistedclapton whatsoever coils; in that case yes, you need a lot more power than available with VIR.
IAnd then...look somewhere else, but it's pretty obvious, I would say.
Not an issue of mine, I build simple space coils, I'm lazy.

Yeah well, than again, it's a vey small mod, I think it's not battery life what we are looking for, here. Me personally wanted a small mod I could show up with in certain situations and I still want. I'll swap batteries, not a big issue. :)

This is very cool, indeed!

Yeah, now what I don't really understand. If there's an issue of unstable connections then the resistance value while vaping is changing because of the wire's properties and because of these unknown factors - what happens?
To my experience it's inconsistencies, being it dry hits or at the oppsite an invasive power modulation.
What am I missing here?

Yeah, definitely it is.
And... at least with the circuits I tried this is what I want to have. I mean it's cool if the mod mantains a certain treshold T, but.... You feel it while vaping, it's a big coitus interruptus. In these cases to me the setup should be corrected: if you set the same T and the TC doesn't kick in unless the wick is getting dry... well, I vape fine, the T I don't want to exceed is not excedeed...fine!
Others tend to aim to this situation of constant power modulation when building their atomizers, it's a matter of taste.

VIR promises something else and, hey, I'm in, let's see!

Lo Zio,you said that you dont use Ni and you do extremely well I must say. So, if you use Ti and your resistance is not steady because of the AD of Tilemahos, then you have to have the steady pin of Tilemahos.

By the way, how much the ohms changes and what is the value of your usual resistances when atomizer is cold?

Its not an issue of Tilemahos really Lo Zio the fact that resistance jumps. I have said before that if 2 things (mod and atomizer) have AD pins, the ohms are not rock steady. Tilemahos has an AD pin to help customers to adjust their pole. If mod has an AD pin too then you cant do many things. But with Tilemahos you have options when you dont have them with other atomizers. Its its steady pin that you can buy if you like. Also Proteus has a stiff pin and thats how pins have to be.Soft springs on pins are not suitable either.

ps...... we cant blame a Tilemahos feature (AD pin) just because some mods have AD pin and maybe with a soft spring. Why dont blame the mods? lol

Hi Imeo, I took several days trying Proteus and I must say I am very happy with it, at first it seems difficult to handle, but the couple of hours drive as if it had lifetime.
It is a mod that far exceeds what I expected from him, small, handy, easy to use, and above all how well it works, is what most surprised me, their performance is spectacular. I am now with a coil 0.5 to 0.6 ohm and the result is surprising!
What if in fact lack is autonomy, so I hope to try later in other mods with more autonomy batteries.
Thank you very much for your work Imeo, which is amazing, as always.

At 1st try, after found the batteries bought a couple years ago and a quick look to your video [emoji123][emoji106][emoji475][emoji475]

For coil wrapping on Pene V3 what size tool, bit or something else do you wrap around and what gage wire do you use?
Thanks!

It's on the photo, 25mm tool and 0,25 wire. Will try other setups with the time and will follow other's experiences :)

fantastic Utal! Thank you buddy. I hope that Proteus will be your all day vape after you use it for 2-3 days!
