Don't know the why of it. Do you notice the board running faster than it was?

No not really.I get the same amount of time out of the battery as usual a whole day and a wake up vape before charging. It works just as if I just received the device no funny quirks or anything just this out of the blue "no res. showing" up,then it went back to normal after depleting the battery.

Mine is #1044 placed 17 August, and I'm expecting shipment around 8 September.
Haven't seen many order numbers posted lately, so maybe that will help you calculate arrival.

I think you might be a bit pessimistic. I'm #1022, placed Aug 4, so the backlog must have decreased dramatically over that time period. Assuming they get through 5 per day, and his was the last placed on Saturday, that gets me out the door on Thursday, followed by yours the subsequent Monday (since they seem to work and ship on Saturdays), or 9/1.

 you would be surprised how many people say that to me....

You're right, the backlog seems to be in check since the lead times are down to 10-15 business days.

My last order took over 6 weeks so this one will be here in no time by comparison :)
Too bad the matte black won't be in stock by the time it's built, but I think I'l live....

Well running the battery down did nothing to sort out my problem. So an email to Evolv explaining the situation.I got a quick response from them, they are going to check the board and said it sounds like the current sensor is at fault and will send me a replacement. So here she is :D

They're doing some funny math with this lead-time stuff.

I'm on business day 16 with no notice as yet (not counting Saturdays). Granted, it was a 12-18 day window when I placed the order, I don't see how they can reduce the leadtime that much without getting through previously placed orders in the new window?

Beats me how it works....
Every order I've seen on this thread is delivered almost to the day it was predicted from the lead time when the order was placed.

Should know more on mine in the next week or so.

It's business days which are Monday through Friday which is how the lead times are defined on their website.

Why not send them an e-mail and ask if they'd be willing to hold off building yours until matte black body tubes are available?

I think it will be a nice compliment to the matte black one - twins are never exactly identical.

If it doesn't melt my butter then I'll order another one in matte.

Is there anybody with an XPV with the Fat Daddy 510 connection? I need to know what thickness the Black packer is in between the top plate and the belt clip. As mine is all in bits now I am getting somebody to fit me a FT510 connection and he will make a packing plate up from scratch.

If your talking about the extra spacer that was used because of the new 510 I'd say it's about 3mm. I don't have an exact way to measure it. You could just buy a spacer from them. The spacer to remove the belt clip is the same.

Sheesh, a third one? In that case, you'd better figure out how to make those Russians of yours stop leaking. Have you ever tried putting better o-rings in them? ;)

I kid about a third one... two of things is good, but three ? :p

Nautilusfan mentioned 'rolling' o-rings to me yesterday.
Re-tracing my steps I *think* this all started after I took the sight glass cylinders apart for a deep cleaning

I never ever touched those before - it's the only thing I can think of that would cause leaks from the AFC screw.
If that doesn't work, I've got a couple tubes of this:
