I am SOOOOOooooo glad that I ordered this XPV mod....

-dna 40...amazing!!!!! adds no taste to the juice for those that are metal curious...zero...zip...nada.

Once I got it built, which was tricky...14 wraps on 2mm 32g Nickel 200. I used a coil jig and it is still not my prettiest coil. This metal is soft...Pulse fire is right out. You cannot do it because the DNA board will hit temp control before you have a chance to pinch. Besides, fired it has the same softness and color as before you fired it. I didn't taste anything burning off so there is no need.

So whatever you have good, bad or ugly just roll with it. As long as your leads are nice and trimmed at the screws and the coil does not touch the base, you are good to go. Even after it fires it will be soft so positioning can be tricky.

I built a single coil on my Ruzgar. At 30 watts my .33 ohm coil is the smoothest vape I ever tasted. Had to use a 12mg juice because I wicked it the first time with an 18mg and the TH was too much to bear. I believe this is because I am actually tasting nuances in the juice. Lots of vapor production.

-XPV!!!!!!!

-not huge
-lightweight but seems rugged
-very sexy mod in black on black...stealthy. The blacks are so rich.
-The wheel is terrific for adjusting temp and wattage up and down...easy easy once you get the hang of how to work a DNA 40
-Made in the US and you all know I love that!

Pics of my not so perfect coil and the mod

IMG_20141020_171844_482.jpg more coming....

I am a very happy camper today!

No, I did not like the look of it on the site and being a woman, I doubt I will ever clip it to myself for any reason. I can add one later if I want.

Just wondering. The clip was a selling point when I got the 30. I got the spacer to remove it if I didn't like it. But not having to put it in my pocket is a great thing and it's light enough to not be noticed.

I don't think it's a lady thing. I opted for both spacers with my 30, and I've never used it. So I just got the "plain Jane" no-clip 40 (which according to an email, IS NOW ON ITS WAY!!! WOOT!!!) :headbang::w00t:

Woo hoo! Grats! I think it looks sexy without the clip....and it feels nice in my hand.....and no rolling...did I say that before?....I love that if it falls over, it does not also roll off of things.

(sent from Mars, it's not as red as I imagined.)

Guys I am about to pull the trigger on the 40d, Just wondering if anyone can confirm for me, with the button layout of the XPV that it can be taken out of "temp mode" just like Pbusardo video was referring to all features of the new board? Thanks! Im gonna be one happy kid if this deal goes through!

From its manual: "To disable the temperature protection entirely, adjust the limit up to 600 degrees, then press UP one additional time. The temperature limit will read OFF. This will also disable the prompt when a new atomizer is attached."
I haven't done it though for I feel no need to jack with it. The manual also doesn't seem to address how to turn it back ON. :)

I think I would try locking it and holding the wheel button down, then adjusting degrees....haven't tried it though for the same reason you haven't....Lol
