Also wanted to let you guys know that when I was in there I replaced the o ring in the 510 with the upgraded red one that they supplied. It works a lot better now.

Just did my replacement of the "o" ring and like you say it is much better, all my atties work on it now and you can screw them down so they are not loose.

Can you describe what the o-ring is/does? Didn't get one with my XPVs -- don't think I need one since I'm not having any problems, but curious as to what the new o-ring is.

Yes please elaborate... I assume you mean the Red Oring that was in the bag with the Ego connector? How did you go about installing it (the more in depth the better)

Thanks in advance....

Well I am going to go through that in the review, but what happened is the o ring that comes stock around the 510 pin is flimsy. Eventually the pin will start working its way down and you have to continuously take a micro flathead to work it back up so that it makes connection with some things. The fix is basically to pull off the top cap (keep note of the way the wires are in there), pull the top cap up far enough to give you room to work. Take a pin, tiny flathead, or something small like that and push the 510 pin up and through. Then pull off whats left of that stock o ring. Put the red one in its place. push it back down, then thread that ego connector on to make sure it seats in there properly and doesn't push up while you're putting the cap back on. Make sure all the wires are looking close to how you had them, and you should be good to go. If you want to wait to see it, Im gonna pull the whole thing apart in my review. Ive already talked to Protovapor about the review and he is giving me some good info to share with everyone as well.

According to their blog it looks like they finally got all of their new boards and stuff in. So it looks like the DNA30 mods will start shipping soon. I wonder how far down the preorder list I am...:D

Obviously don't know when you put your preorder in but I put mine in on January 27 and they just told me mine should ship at the beginning of next week.

Some of us have been in DNA heaven for a while now, and don't see the need for more than 20 watts. ;)

In all honesty I just wanted a second xpv, but the arrival of the DNA30 just happened to coincide with my purchase window. And with a pre-order purchase price being the same, then why not? Besides maybe I'll get to sample those really low ohm builds that the kiddos talk about. :D

Oh, I want a second one too. Basically a duplicate of my first (all black full-size). Plus I want a third and a fourth (minis) to keep RDAs on at my desk. Not to mention that I want a second Vaporshark DNA. Trouble is I keep wondering if I'll come across something I'll like/want more, and I don't actually need more stuff at all. :D

I can't wait. The Protovapor will be my first DNA mod. Right now I only have a Provari (which I love very much) but i'm excited to try out variable wattage for the first time. I also want to try sub-ohming to see what all the fuss is about. Quick question to all those that already have a Protovapor. This might have been already covered in one of the 60+ pages on this device but can anybody tell me what battery life is like on the full size one. I have heard people say the DNA mods go through batteries really fast. Can anyone speak to this?

The battery life is really good on man. If I use it exclusively it will last a full day. Only thing is that they are putting different batts in the 30. My 20 has 2900 mah battery.
